Amazing Apartment

Beautiful place.. clean.. everything there you would ever need.. brilliant air conditioning.. i would advise to hire a car tho.. or you will need to get taxi's everywhere

Could do with a good sort out and clean. Some things very dated, but ok.

We enjoyed our stay, the apartment is ok, but needs a good clean and the double bed needs to be changed it has a big sag in the middle. Children bedroom has no air conditioning so they slept in lounge some nights. There is a lovely terrace but we did spend a afternoon cleaning it for us to use it. The shops are approx 1 1/2 mile walk and the taxis do charge 6 euros just to go up hill so we walked most of the time.Delinana is a lovely lady and helps as much as she can, although we didn't meet her but she rang regularly. I would probaly recommend the apartment if you have a car. Once you have walked there is easy access to buses into fungiroli, Belmadena and Torrimollinos. We enjoyed the stay but it was too much walking for us from the apartment.

Nice Apartment

We arrived on 11th July around 14.30 and met Deliana who had been getting the apartment ready for us. The apartment itself is very nice with all mod cons including washing machine. There is a lift from the ground floor to the apartment which is good for those who can't manage the stairs. There is a fair sized pool around 100 yards from the apartment which can only be opened by key. Someone watches over the pool at certain times during the day, unsure if he is a lifeguard but he does not allow sunbeds, lilos, balls etc in the pool or pool area. The only items allowed were towels. We went up to the private roof on our second day by way of a spiral staircase which could be quite challenging. My partner was covered in bites over her arms and legs after lying on one of the sunbeds so we didn't go back up until the 2nd last day. My view of the roof was that the sunbeds need to be changed as they look very torn and jaded. The apartment is basically up a large hill in the middle of nowhere. The nearest bus stop and taxi rank is a half mile walk and the nearest supermarket is a quarter of a mile further down. Unless you have deep pockets to pay 10-12 euros per taxi trip or you like walking around 3 miles into Benalmadena you are going to need a car. Lots of great restaurants in Benalmadena the pick of which is The Cinnamon Club Indian at the Marina. One thing I found strange was there are loads of trees outside but I didn't see or hear any birds for the duration of our stay. Bottom line, nice apartment but a real shame it's so far away.

Car required .Very hilly.

People need to be aware before booking this property that there are steep hills to climb in all directions to get to transport & civilization. .We booked for 30 nights .However , due to the daily trek up the hills , my husbands knee swelled , reducing his mobility. Due to isolation without transport , & intrusion on our privacy for 4 days with painters on the balcony , we had to move to an apartment where everything was available locally. When removing the mattress cover on departure, we also found the mattress badly stained.
