About Suzie Windscheffel

I am married and live with my husband, son and daughter in a village, on the border of Worcestershire and the North Cotswolds. I have always had a passion for property and have worked in all sectors of the property industry, in between bringing up the children. When we go away, we love to have a light, spacious modernised property, that is clean with a hint of luxury about it. We like to be situated in a rural location, with easy access to the areas and activities we want to indulge in. So hopefully, this house ticks those boxes and if these things are also importatnt to you - will equally fulfill your requirements. We very much appreciate any feedback - good or bad, to allow us to put things right if we have got anything wrong!

Outside of work, I love to tread the boards at our local Am Dram Society, and equally enjoy watching how the Professionals do it on stage, just as much!!

Living in the Cotswodls, we are spoiled for good walks with lovely views, and we all enjoy walking our loyal, and aged labrador, April! I have made up a folder of easy to follow walks with photos, and put each one in a plastic sleeve, so you can take it with you, wherever you choose to go.

Travelling far and wide is also on top of our agenda, including enjoying and exploring our own beautiful country. Theres so much to do and see out there...!!

Suzie Windscheffel purchased this house in 2015

Why Suzie Windscheffel chose Tewkesbury district

As I mentioned in my last description, we love property which is light and airy, modern inside with up to date appliances, and situated in a rural location with a stunning view to wake up to every day. When we made the decision last summer that we would like to purchase a holiday property, it was quite fortuitous, that a builder was looking to build such a place in the nearby village of Alderton. A peaceful village - with a pub, walking distance away!! That of course was a pure conincidence!! Ha ha. Having seen the plans, it just said 'Buy me'! We have not been disappointed and hope that you enjoy your stay there.

What makes this house unique

The immediate feature that pulled at our heart strings was the fabulous views to the front of the property. The master bedroom and Bed 2 overlooks this view, and to wake up every day to that aspect, for us, would just get our day off to the best start!! Equally, when you open the front door, you are immediately greeted with this sea of green in front of you! It is such a feelgood factor!

A fantastic house, has everything you need, even though it feels like you are moving in to a showhome for the first time, everything has been thought of with great living space and every amenity you need, making the stay relaxed and enjoyable, shared by 3 families with toddlers and newborns. See you next time Suzie!

Excellent property in great location

Very stylish property with a high standard of comfort, equipment and amenities in an attractive village setting that includes with a very good local pub and country walks. Easy access to the Cotswolds and to other nearby towns.

Owner of property is very obliging and responsive to inquiries, both before and during stay (if needed) and to ensure stay is as comfortable and accommodating as is possible.

highly recommended.

Perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds

  • 5 of 5

Would be 6 or 7 stars, if the rating system allowed it.

We were U.S. travelers doing a road trip of the southern UK and spent three nights here. It was a perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds: all the interesting villages are reasonably short drives. We took day trips each day, and cooked our own meals at home each night, taking a thankful break from restaurants. There are perfectly adequate grocers within 5 miles or so.

The house itself was new & perfectly spotless, comfortable, moderns, in a quiet location, and absolutely matches the photographs. Everything was clean and new, and it felt almost as if we were the first ones to use the place.

Everything worked out well for us from the time we arrived until we left. Suze was very easy to deal with and responded to mobile text messages quickly, answering any questions we had. We have traveled all over the world for 15+ years, and this place was definitely in the top 5.

We will be back, since we didn't have a chance to see everything we had planned to see.

There is nothing interesting to see within walking distance, but if you have a car, like peace & quiet and don't mind being a bit isolated from the crowds, this place is absolutely perfect. Our own home in the U.S. is similarly situated miles away from town, so we felt right at home.

A fabulous property, in pristine condition with gorgeous decor!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great few days here. Facilities are top notch, all you could wish for in a holiday home.

We enjoyed trips to Croome Park, on our way to the property, Broadway tower and Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park whilst there and Surely Castle on our way home.

Highly recommended and we really enjoyed the brownies!

This property had everything we could possibly want for our week-end stay.

  • 5 of 5

This property lived up to the description as seen on-line. It was very modern, clean and a pleasure to stay in. It was large enough for seven adults to occupy comfortably. Everything was of a high quality and the beds very comfortable.

The welcome breakfast items and homemade brownies were very much appreciated and a lovely touch.

We took advantage of the walking leaflets in the file and walked up to the Broadway Tower which was well worth the effort and a must to visit whether by walking or by car. Broadway, itself, is a beautiful place to visit as is Snowshill Manor and gardens (National Trust).
