Excellent modern apartment

Just spent a week at this apartment, everything went smooth with good communications , its a fantastic modern apartment with everything you could need. The access to the pools was an added bonus as they are few and far between in the resort. Only a short stroll down to fantastic beach and sea front and would highly recommend , I have stayed many times in Mil Palmeras but this is by far the best apartment I have stayed in.

Lovely apartment however located on a busy main road

This apartment is beautifully decorated inside, the owner is easy to deal with and responds to questions immediately. However the photos are deceptive, the apartment is located on a main road which has traffic noise 8 am - 2am.

It is covientiently located for the beach, under a five minute walk, this was fantastic, as we could leave our stuff on the beach and pop back for lunch.

To help potential guest make a decision I have outlined pros and cons below, these are compared to other properties we have rented in the area.

PRO'S

Immaculate apartment

5 minute walk to beach

Swimmining pool ( not busy)

2 shower rooms, which is great when you come off the beach and need to get kids showered.

Walking distance to shops and restuarants both in Mil Palmeras and Torre de la Horadada (where locals eat)

Great resturants in Plaza Latino, 10 minutes walk.

Owner quick to rectify problems

CON'S

On busy road with traffic noise at night

Patio faces road -so if you eat in and like to relax on patio in the evening this is not for you.

Patio is predominately in the shade most of the day.

Limited cutlery supplied so need to wash up throughout the day.

No shutters on lounge or bedroom to help block sound and light at night.

If I intend to eat out every night I would not hesitate to rent this property again.

very clean, fresh apt. top value.

The apt delievered exactly what it promised, and more. Very clean and fresh. A nice touch is the small bottles of schampo and such.

Walking distance to beach and restaurants.

A small minus is that the patio faces towards the main road. But we will be happy to rent this apt again.

Appart très agréable !

Appartement luxueux, très propre, climatisé et très bien agencé. Nous avons passé 2 semaines très agréables, non loin de la plage. La piscine est elle aussi très bien avec 3 bassins et herbe synthétique pour bronzer ! Le propriétaire est à l'écoute.

Pour que l'appartement soit parfait je pense qu'il faudrait installer des volets roulants aux fenêtres de la chambre parentale et du salon. Ainsi que rajouter quelques couverts à la cuisine.

Je conseille vivement cette location !

With regards to the additional cutlery, space is limited in the drawer, but can add two additional place settings. With regards to the shutters, I would welcome additional information as we have roller blinds in the master bedroom, and we have looked at additional curtains in the lounge to prevent external people being able to look into the property. Owner's Response: Unfortunately during the guests stay there was a power cut due to excessive loading on the system this affected all properties on the resort. I have no adverse reports from my cleaning company and would welcome the guest and his family back to stay in 2017. 😃򐰠 Property owner.

Whilst you stay at our apartment in Mil Palmeras, you are uniquely positioned to enjoy a wide variety of activities just a short drive from the apartment, some of these are listed below for your information:

Walking along the beaches: Mil Palmeras is known for its sandy beaches and clean, clear water and is a typical Spanish seaside resort. Enjoy hours walking through the soft sand.

Go-Karts:

Enjoy one of the biggest Go-Karting circuits on the Orihuela Costa at Punta Prima Torrevieja, just off the N332, the site also includes a free fairground. An ideal location to organize birthday parties.

Boat trips:

Maritimas Torrevieja operate out of Torrevieja harbor. Their trips include for excursions to the island of Tabarca, the journey takes approx. 50 mins. Other trips include for underwater viewings, and coastline viewings.

Golf: Again within a short drive you have a selection of golf venues:

Mar Menor Golf La Manga Golf La Serena Golf Roda Golf Course Villa Martin.

Horse riding: Three Greys horse riding stable welcomes beginners and experienced riders alike and has a large number of horses and ponies to suit all abilities in Pilar de la Horadada just a short drive away.

Cycling Hire: Border Bike Hire in the next town along at Pilar de la Horadada offers bicycle of all different sizes to meet you or your family’s needs. The local area is flat and ideal for discovering the area.

Rio Safari: Swim with sea lions, ride on the tour train around the park, and see the wild cats, giraffes and many many more animals in this African safari. The Safari park is about 25 min drive towards Alicante located just off the N332 at Santa Pola on the CV865 at Elche.

Tennis: Within Mil Palmeras, just 10 minutes’ walk away, there are 4 communal tennis courts which are free to use.

Scuba & Snorkelling: Both Scuba & Snorkelling can be found in in Playa Flamenca which is around a 15 min drive on the N332 towards Torrevieja. The dive site is able to provide PADI Discover Scuba diving experiences and pool sessions for the PADI Open Water Diver Course at the Orihuela Costa Resort on the Costa Blanca, they also arrange trips to different dive sites for your enjoyment.
