About the property

3 LIMEPOTS IS A WELCOMING HOLIDAY HOME. PRIVATE PARKING AND GARDEN

3 Limepots is a welcoming , delightful holiday house. It is very spacious and is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, ideally located within five minute level walk of the town centre. All rooms have central heating and with the additional benefit of a lovely open fire in the sitting room. There is PRIVATE off street parking for two cars and a lockable garage, if you need to store bikes, kayaks etc. A small garden to the front and private garden with patio and garden furniture are to the rear of the house. Free unlimited WI-FI is available. The kitchen has plenty of cupboard and worktop space along with a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Plenty of drying space for wet clothes if needed! We welcome all ages to Limepots and if required we have cot, high chair and stair gate. Please ask for these items when booking. All linen is included and beds are all made up for your arrival. Also towels are included in the price. We have tried to make Limepots a really welcoming place for all ages but with the comfort of all modern facilities. We have a great selection of DVD'S, books, toys and board games to be enjoyed by all.

The three bedrooms are all light and spacious and very comfortable and are all located on the first floor. The house is in a very peaceful area of the town, mainly being residential. We do ask our guests to respect this and our lovely neighbours. The nearest supermarket is five minutes walk, Booths and the Co-op supply everything you need for your holiday along with bakeries and butchers in the town. A welcoming pub is five minutes walk away The Pheasant Inn, serving traditional food and serving great local ale and beers.

The house location is just perfect for exploring the town and the area.

The house as easy access to the fells and bike routes, here you can do a walk up Latrigg but if your feeling energetic you could walk to the top of Skiddaw, one of the the fells in the Lake District to be over 3'000ft. Many walks and cycle trails are available from the doorstep which makes it such a ideal location for exploring the majestic fells and Lakes.

But it is also a house to relax in, read a book, watch a film or sit back and enjoy the breathtaking scenery surrounding you. We so look forward to welcoming you and making your holiday a very happy and memorable one. We offer short breaks, mid week and weekends. Please enquire for pricing.

We are a local family that are delighted to offer our lovely holiday house to visitors. We both grew up in this wonderful county. We live on a dairy farm with our four young children. So our lives are rather busy ones! We are passionate about Cumbria and the Lake District and so thrilled to be able to welcome you to our little piece of Lakeland. I can guarantee you will love the house, facilities and the excellent location for exploring this beautiful part of the world. The town offers a great selection of cafes, pubs and many shops to explore, with a selection of attractions. There really is something for everyone staying at Limepots.

  • A light, airy bathroom. Full size bath, overhead power shower, toilet and sink. Plenty of hot water, always important after a long walk on the Lakeland fells. Also downstairs toilet and basin.

Cosy, family friendly house on the edge of Keswick

Really lovely house, very well equipped and beautifully decorated. Couldn't ask for more, 5/10 minute amble in to the town centre. We had a fabulous time during our stay and would highly recommend if you are looking for a property in walking distance of Keswick town centre with a cosy, family friendly feel.

We will definitely be returning.

Spacious, bright and comfortable house close to Keswick town centre

Fantastic base for exploring the Keswick area. Spacious well equipped house within short walking distance of Keswick town centre. Off street parking.

House has everything you require- comfy beds, great shower, well equipped kitchen and plenty of logs for the open fire. A cosy and warm place to return to after a day's walking or exploring the area. Highly recommend the Pheasant Inn but you must book. Will definitely come back next time in Keswick.

Fabulous family home from home: Limepots!

This was our first time staying at Limepots under its new ownership- Elisabeth and Richard have made wonderful, high quality improvements to the property, which we have stayed at many times in previous years. As hosts, we couldn't have asked for more-every detail was carefully thought out, and communicated well before our stay, so 10/10 for customer service. The property is a beautiful home, immaculately clean, well maintained, and very tastefully decorated throughout- the website pictures do not really do it justice.

Limepots is a 5 minute flat walk to the centre of Keswick, 2 minutes to the park, and just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the town to be peaceful and quiet. There is a drive that easily can park two/ three cars plus a safe garage for storing bikes or equipment you may bring. There is also a private garden, with seating, so that you can relax there if you are lucky enough to get some sunshine.

The house is well equipped with everything you may ever need, and more! The new kitchen is fabulous, and the new downstairs bathroom is a definite improvement and saves queueing for the upstairs bathroom! There are lots of little things that make a family holiday that little bit easier- you can literally bring your clothes and walking boots and go! We have stayed here many times, and have lots of friends and family who have stayed after our recommendation- the new improved Limepots is even better! Im sure even the pickiest of guests would find it hard to pick fault here.

We love the Lakes, and Keswick has it all, in my opinion-great days out for walking, boat trips, fab foodie places to eat, and lovely pubs to quench your thirst in. The town has a family friendly vibe, and there are loads of lovely shops to browse. We particularly enjoyed Lingholme at the far side of Derwentwater- lovely food, great service and a wonderful setting for morning coffee & cake, or a hearty lunch. A lot of time and money has obviously been spent on Keswick after the terrible floods, and it was obvious the town had recovered and bounced back larger then life. Buy a weekly pass for the Keswick launch, get your walking boots on, enjoy the great outdoors... coming home to a lovely log fire, and a beautiful home from home in Limepots just adds to the pleasure!

Beautiful Holiday Home

We had a wonderful time in Limepots. It was spotlessly clean and extremely well maintained. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need to make your stay a home away from home. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen ware of everything you could possibly need. It had a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier etc which was extremely handy. It had two beautiful downstairs rooms. The front had a beautiful lounge with a TV and a beautiful view across to the Church and at the back was a dining room and a sun room which was lovely to sit in and read. Upstairs there was a shower over the bath and lovely bedrooms. The garden was private and had a lovely wooden garden table and seating. At the side of the house there was a driveway. I had fantastic customer service from the owner Elizabeth. She had been in contact with me before, during and after our holiday. I have never had this great a customer service from any holiday I had booked before. We certainly will be booking this home again in the future. I certainly would recommend this home. It is without doubt the best home we have been to. The Lake District in general is so picturesque. It takes your breath away.

Beautiful property in a fab location

My family of 6 had a wonderful stay at Limepots. It has spacious and comfortable bedrooms and a very well equipped kitchen. Our kids enjoyed the games and movies. Being the Lakes, we had a mix of sunshine and showera but enjoyed walks to Cat Bells, Latrigg, Aira Force and Buttermere. We were also fortunate enough to be in the Lakes during the recent meteor shower and loved seeing shooting stars from the front of the house! The house has a great location, just 5 minutes walk from Keswick and it was great to come back to after a day of exploring. All of my family loved staying here and would highly recommend it.

Keswick is a fabulous location for exploring the beautiful Lake District and Cumbria. From the stunning scenery, fell walks, mountain biking and lots more to discover. With so much to offer, for all ages. Keswick is a really great town which certainly as something for everyone. A array of cafes, pubs and restaurants catering for everyone's needs. The town boasts a park called Fitz park, only five minute walk from Limepots, a free park for everyone to use and has the most wonderful children's play area and a very good cafe too. The walk down to the lake is very pretty and is about 15 minutes for the house. The views are just breathtaking. The launches which run on Derwentwater is a must, a boat trip on this lake is worth every penny, you can either do the full round trip or just hop on or off as you like.

Theatre by the Lake is an events venue and puts on some fantastic plays and performances throughout the year. The town also has a cinema showing the latest films . In the day you can explore the unique Keswick Museum, a super place telling you all about the history of Keswick and the area. Also The Pencil Museum , here you can have your picture taken with the longest pencil in the world! The puzzle museum is great fun and worth a visit, likewise if your feeling energetic a visit to King Kong indoor adventure centre, here you can ice climb, try indoor caving and also as a kids play area, a great all weather attraction. Keswick Leisure pool, with wave machine and giant slide for hours of fun. All the above are all located in the town. Further afield is Whinlatter visitor centre, here you can explore the forest by foot, mountain bike. Also located here is Go Ape, a tree top adventure and if your lucky you may even spot a gruffalo! Honister Mines, explore the mines at the top of the Borrowdale Valley and if your feeling brave you can try out the Via Ferrata, a high wire mountain climb! Mirehouse and gardens are only 2 miles away, here you discover the delightful gardens and house. Castlerigg Stone Circle, free to visit a wonderful example of a prehistoric monument. Threlkeld Quarry and Mining Museum, here you can find out more about our heritage. The area around Keswick is to be discovered, explore the beautiful valleys of Newlands , Buttermere and Borrowdale.

A car is useful but don't worry we have a excellent bus network in Cumbria, a call by to the local tourist information for further details is well worth doing. The information centre is located in The Moot Hall, located in the market square, here you can plan your days ahead and find out what's on and lots more. Cumbria is a fantastic and diverse county and is well worth exploring throughout.

Carlisle, The Great Border City and Hadrians Wall are to the North of Keswick a 45 minute drive in the car. Grasmere, Ambleside, Windermere and Kendal are very special places and all the villages in between not forgetting the breathtaking scenery and a few sheep along the way! The Cumbrian coastline offers wild and beautiful landscape to explore. The Eden valley is worth a detour a hidden gem off the beaten track. Also Scotland is only eight miles from Carlisle, so you easily take yourself across the border for the day.
