Fabulous stay!
We stayed at this property for a long weekend in August. Whilst the weather was a bit of let down, the house didn’t disappoint. It was clean and spacious and was very close to the centre of Keswick. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need to make a meal and more! Elisabeth was the perfect hostess. She provided us with really helpful information prior to our stay and kept in regular contact over the weekend

Outstanding holiday home!
We rented this property for a week in August and honestly didn’t want to leave. It is beautifully decorated and fitted out with everything you need for a home-from-home holiday experience. We loved going back to the house after some fun and challenging walks and having a relaxing bath or steaming hot shower in the gorgeous bathroom. Making dinner in was easy as the kitchen is kitted out with everything you need to cook all your favourite meals. Then relaxing in the cosy living room watching telly while we rested our tired legs. The location is also excellent - easy to access the rest of the Lakes by car and 5 minutes walk into the heart of Keswick. The owner was exceptionally helpful and communication was excellent. I honestly can’t rave about this property enough. We loved staying here.

Excellent Place to Stay in Keswick
This was an amazing place to stay - the house is very well, maintained, clean and in a perfect location. Location wise, it was a 6-7 minute walk into Keswick town centre with all its shops, cafes and amenities, a 2 minute drive from the A66 for easy access. The main supermarket (Booths) was a 6-7 minute walk away, but there was also a small supermarket at the petrol station 1 minute away. Lots of great walks from Keswick and easy access to the rest of the Lake District. Communication from Elisabeth was brilliant - checking with us to make sure we had received the directions and checkin info in advance and then emailed a couple of times during the week to check that everything was in order.. The bedrooms were all of a good size (we only used the double and it was a very comfortable bed), the bathroom with shower above the bath was large, modern and clean. The kitchen was very well equipped (although we ate out most of the time so only used it to prepare the odd light meal!). There are plenty of board games & puzzles to keep children (& adults) entertained in a cupboard in the dining room. One last tip - if the sun is shining in the afternoon, the bench in the front garden is a real sun trap! Were there any negatives to report? Not that I can think of - this is one of the best all-round places we've stayed at - I'm sure anyone staying here will enjoy it as much as we did.
