About the property

A pretty three bedroom Regency cottage located in the very centre of Brighton

This is a very centrally located pretty regency cottage. It sleeps a maximum of ten and has 5 single beds in two bedrooms (which can also be zipped to create two double beds and a single bed), and an adult bunk bed in the third bedroom. Three additional guests can sleep on the two large sofa beds.

Please note that the auto-calculators do not offer discounts. If your stay is longer please let me know so I can let you know what if any discounts are available. Please note the price quotes you will receive on this site are the highest on any site due to the high fees charged (I advertise on all sites). My site is brightonholiday dot com

If you wish to be literally a stones throw from all Brighton's main attractions then this is the property for you. It is a five minute walk to the main attractions .e.g hundreds of restaurants and bars, beach, i360, Pavilion, Brighton Centre, Brighton Pavilion. A large Waitrose is located no more than three minutes away and the train station is within a comfortable walking distance away.

You can see a video of the cottage at the end of the photographs on this site. Additional photos and floor/plan bed plans can be seen on my website if you enquire directly for this. Please note the price of this property varies significantly based on where it is advertised based on the charges on each site. My site is Brightonholiday dot com

The Lounge and Dining Area

The lounge has two large adult double sofa beds and a dining area which sleeps up to 10 for family occasions or group events. A private chef can be booked if required.

It is fully equipped with a new Panasonic freest 42 inch TV. Full free WiFi is also included in the price.

The kitchen

This house has a large fully equipped kitchen and includes everything you are likely to require to prepare a large dinner.

The Bedrooms

There are three bedrooms. Bedroom one has a twin bed that can be zipped and linked into a double bed, Bedroom two has either three single beds or two beds can be zipped and linked into a double with a separate single bed. There is a third bedroom that has an adult bunk bed in it. There are additionally two sofa beds in the living room. The beds have been selected to be very comfortable. Linen and towels are provided which are all top grade Egyptian cotton.

The Bathrooms

There are two bathroom in the property. One is on the second floor landing and the second is an ensuite shower room attached to the second bedroom.

The Garden

There is a small pretty decked, cottage garden. An ideal place to eat lunch or have a quiet drink before going out. Please note to prevent disturbance to the neighbours the garden cannot be used after 9pm.

Parking

There are two large public car parks a short walk away. A dedicated parking space is also often available with this property. The availability of this though needs to be checked at the time of booking.

Arriving by car

Please go to the properties direct website to print off the parking and detailed location map.

Arriving by train

The train station is a short walk away and can be comfortably reached on foot. However the route to the station is very hilly and you may prefer to catch a taxi which costs £7 if you have heavy bags. There is a frequent bus service also to the station (the number 7 bus). The bus takes longer to catch than it would to take you to walk. Trains from London leave every 15 minutes and take an hour. Trains from Gatwick take 35 minutes and are very frequent.

Airport transfers and taxis

For groups you may prefer to travel by taxi from the airport. The best local taxi firm is Brighton and Hove Streamline which can be reached on 01273 202020. You may find a cheaper private hire firm by searching on the Internet.

Accessibility

The house is on two floors. The stairs are easy to climb with a supporting rail. The house is not suitable for those that require wheelchair access or for those that are too infirm to manage a flight of stairs.

Pets

Please note that pets are not allowed.

Please enquire directly for an accurate price quote / or read the pricing notes.

About Catherine Lane

I grew up in Brighton and love the City. This property and all the others which I rent have been bought as they are in excellent central locations and represent the best locations and property styles of their size that Brighton has to offer.

Why Catherine Lane chose Brighton

I bought this house due to its fantastic central location and its very typical Brighton regency charm. Its is very central but yet also very quiet. Everything is on your doorstep and yet when you close the door you have a relaxing, open plan living space. The city centres best restaurants, shops and tourist attractions are on your doorstep. The train centre and conference centre plus the most popular wedding venues are also within a short walk away.

In the Summer the patio doors can be opened to let the pretty cottage scented garden into the house.

A great property in the perfect location

  • 5 of 5

A pretty well decorated cottage in the perfect location. We were right in the centre of town. Everything that we wanted was within a 1-5 minute walk away. It also felt like a calm oasis as eating lunch in the garden filled with roses and the sun beating down felt heavenly. It was clean and well equipped and having a parking space was a real bonus.

Charming property in a fantastic location

  • 5 of 5

The property was charming with everything we needed for our girls birthday reunion. We had a delightful stay and hopefully will come back. It was as described in the advert and located in the very centre of the town. You definitely won’t need a car here as the shops, restaurants, beach etc are on the doorstep. This property was of a high standard and particularly so when compared to other holiday rentals I have booked in the past.

Clean, modern, great location

  • 5 of 5

Some friends and myself stayed here for a long weekend away from London. The location of the property is great, being about a ten-minute walk from the train station and less to the beach and the city centre. Inside it was modern, very clean and the appliances worked well. We really enjoyed the open plan kitchen and living room which allowed us to all hang out together while making food, eating together around the table and sitting on the sofas.

There are more than enough good restaurants and bars around the property, and the recommendations the owner gave us were great as none of us were really familiar with Brighton before arriving. The patio area would have been great but but we didn't really have time to use it. The mattresses on the beds felt like they were good quality and probably quite expensive so we all slept well. Wi-Fi was a decent speed too.

If any of my friends were looking to spend some time in Brighton, I would definitely recommend this place to them.

You would wish this apartment was yours!

  • 5 of 5

Catherine is a lovely person and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else on our next trip. This apartment is LOVELY cosy apartment. Very spacious and you have your own back garden space for a small Bbq for friends to come over and enjoy time with you in Brighton.

The power shower is amazing and there is another bathroom with a bath for all the ladies. Beautifully presented and a home away from home that is very cosy and delightful. This apartment is a walk away from the best of Brighton's activities. Not to far from the clubs, restaurants, bars and shopping mall is right outside your door step. Double glazed windows so it is very peaceful at night. Thank you for a lovely stay Catherine.

Please enquire directly for accurate prices. The price calculator on this site is not very accurate as the price of a stay varies based on the number of people in the group, the length of the stay and if the stay is on weekend or non-weekend nights. The auto calculators can only provide an approximation of this. High season weekend prices are £1,200 for the weekend unless a late availability discount is available. Please enquire directly for an accurate price quote. Please note the mid-week price is for a maximum of 4 people. There is a £25 surcharge per additional person booked. The weekend rate is for a maximum of six people in low season for the £350 a night rate. There is an additional £25 per charge per person beyond this. The high season weekend rate is for up 11 people. There is a parking space that is often available that can be rented with this property. If you wish to book this please mention this just before your arrival when I can confirm availability. Please note for large groups a £400 security deposit is held on a card of your choice as a security deposit just before your arrival.
