About Tim

I live in the village with my family,I'm a Commercial Artist working from home.I have lived in the cottage watching my family grow for many years,it's a wonderful place for a child as the beach is their safe playground while adults can relax!

Tim purchased this cottage in 2003

Why Tim chose Shaldon

Providence Cottage dates from 1780 when Horse Lane was named Providence Lane, the cottage used to be two small fisherman's cottages but was knocked into one in the 70's.It has been renovated by us and the previous owners. It has a character feel but with a modern vibe.

What makes this cottage unique

A stones throw the beach and near centre of the village.Cosy and Modern

Fab property, everything there that we needed. Ample parking just a short walk away where you can buy a weekly ticket for just under £25 so you can come and go with ease.

Had a lovely stay

  • 4 of 5

The house was lovely, had all we needed (except wifi & a broom, who wants to hoover? They had a hoover but a broom would have dealt with the sand quicker). Parking a nightmare but this is nothing to do with the house! Would stay again & would recommend, excellent location, comfy beds! Thanks for a lovely stay :)

Lovely cottage only minutes from the beach

  • 5 of 5

Lovely cottage which is minutes from the local beach. We had a great stay and the owner, Tim, couldn't have been more helpful. Shaldon is a really nice village with some great cafes, a couple of pubs and a good local shop. Highly recommended.
