Cosy townhouse with cottage ambience

St Owens is a town cottage with rustic charm but with all mod cons. Easy walking distance into Cowes, close to all amenities. Great restaurants, bars, sailing activities and ferry links to the mainland. The house has 3 good size double bedrooms, all with flat screen TV`s able to sleep a minimum of 6 persons. There is a separate on suite shower in one of the top bedrooms and a newly built wet room/ w/c on the ground floor. A popular property for those who like their yachting, three single beds have been added. It has a south facing garden with extensive decking and a barbecue. A real home from home, just a 2 hour rail trip from London Waterloo. The island has some great attractions, beaches, music festivals and a glorious micro climate having some of the sunniest days in the U.K

Cosy

This is a great little, big house. A bit of a tardis with the small sitting room off the front door hiding much more. It's cosy and cute with lots of character and the centre of Cowes is an easy walk away. On chilly days, we had the log burner going and on sunny days, we dined al fresco in the east facing garden. A great holiday base for exploring the island.

Is a lovely property with a cosy feel

We enjoyed a 4 night stay here. As we walked through the door you first notice that it has character and the property has that cosy feel. It is quite small downstairs so there were a few hazards for my one year old but we was out most the day so wasnt too bad. Only disappointing thing was that the property could have been cleaner ready for our arrival. Apart from that the property is lovely , with everything you need.

A great house in a great location

The house is in a great location, 10 minutes walk from the centre of cowes and we didn't struggle to find parking in the local streets, even during cowes week. The house was well furnished with plenty of amenities that have all been well looked after. It was a great place to stay and exactly what we needed for our stay during cowes week.

Great house and only 10 mins from the town. perfect location.

We had a great stay at the house, thanks. Very clean and well presented, 3 spacious bedrooms and the new wet room makes a huge difference. Would definitely use again.

Lovely house in Cowes.

We really enjoyed our stay in this house. We stayed with our two children, 3 and 2 and the owner Matthew really did go above and beyond to make the stay easy and comfortable.The property has very steep stairs and Matthew got stair gates so we didn't have to worry with the children. The property has a proper cot (not just a travel cot) with mattress, duvet and child's pillow. This made it so much more comfy for my youngest. The property has a really nice, sizeable garden. It has a decking area with table and then a long flat lawn. The bedrooms are large with a number of beds to choose from. There was nothing we needed that wasn't there. The property is terraced and there was no noise at all from any neighbours. The parking is on the road and we had no problem getting a space. I would recommend this property and will definitely book it again on our return to the Isle of Wight.

Perfect place to stay. We stayed for a long weekend as we had a wedding in Cowes.The house was clean and very homely. It is in a very good location, walking distance into town centre. Would definitely recommend and would certainly stay again.
