Fabulous, quirky cottage that you can’t do anything else but have an amazing stay in.

  • 5 of 5

Yonder cottage is spacious and lovely and warm and cosy. We chose to stay here as our wedding was booked at Gretna and we were not disappointed. Andrea is so helpful and made every effort to make us feel at home. When we arrived the lovely multi stove was roaring and it immediately felt homely. Off road parking is great. Enclosed back garden so we could let the dog run around. Bedrooms are enormous and the beds were so comfortable that we had best nights sleeps. Knock is a very small remote village so you do have to drive to get supplies but we didn’t mind that. Would love to go back to yonder cottage, can’t recommend this place enough. Well done Andrea.

Lovely cottage

  • 5 of 5

It is very easy for me to write a review about Yonder Cottage and the owner Andrea, who could not have been more helpful. Easy to find, quiet location, beautiful views and a well looked after cottage with a great wood burning stove.

Had a wonderful stay there and met some lovely people.

Weekend seclusion....absolute bliss

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing stay at yonder cottage. It was really pretty and had all the luxuries we needed. Took our 3 daughters and 2 dogs, all enjoyed the beautiful garden. It was a shame it was warm as I really wanted to light the log burner. Big thank you to Andrea for her lovely warm welcome which included great cookies and pink lemonade......only moan was lack of wifi from our teenager, for us it was bliss x

Great characteristic cottage!

  • 5 of 5

Great characteristic cottage with beautiful view from the garden. We enjoyed the friendly and warm welcome by Andrea. Everything in good condition and outstanding clean. We have enjoyed hiking in the beautiful environment quiet near to the cottage. The North Pennines from the backyard and the Lake District in less than half an hour driving.

An immaculate and beautiful cottage with loads of character

  • 5 of 5

We have all loved our stay at Yonder Cottage. It is a beautiful and immaculately maintained cottage with loads of character. Andrea welcomed us on arrival and showed us around. She had bought flowers and chocolates for me as she knew it was my Birthday which was really thoughtful. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She had provided everything we might need for our stay.

We were really comfortable as the property has three large bedrooms and plenty of room downstairs. The garden is lovely and was ideal for my young grandchildren to play in.

All in all I would say this was a super rental property and I would recommend it as a holiday home. The only drawback was the lack of wifi/signal which for a family of self employed people meant a lot of driving/perching on windowsills to find a signal!

Ten out of ten to Andrea and her lovely house.
