About the property

A detached family home with 3 bedrooms that can comfortably sleep 6 people.

The villa was built by its owners 35 years ago and has been lovingly cared for during this time. It is constructed of traditional Mallorcan stone and has many attractive features that include wooden beamed ceilings throughout. It is a comfortable and spacious home ideal for a relaxing family holiday. The villa has reverse action air-conditioning and is also centrally heated. There is wifi throughout the house.

The villa is detached and is set within its own private land measuring approximately 25,000 square meters. It is approached via a gated entrance onto a large sweeping driveway that has room for three cars. There is also a detached garage.

The house has 3 bedrooms that can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. On the ground floor there is a bright and spacious open plan lounge area with a lovely wooden parquet floor and a wood burning fireplace. A large picture window over-looks the terrace and swimming pool. It is comfortably and attractively furnished with two double settees, an armchair, cushioned easy chairs and coffee tables. There is a smart TV with an IPTV system that has a wide selection of television programmes in international languages.

From the lounge area there are double glass entrance doors that lead onto a large tiled terraced sunbathing area and the swimming pool. The terrace is partially shaded by a wooden beamed roof with a table and comfortable seating beneath. There are also sun loungers surrounding the pool area.

On the ground floor there is a large open plan kitchen with a dining room area. The kitchen is well equipped and has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. There is a dining room area with a table that seats 6 people. From the kitchen there is a door that leads directly onto a sheltered courtyard area. On the ground floor there is also a separate cloakroom that has a toilet and a walk in shower.

From the main entrance hallway there is an attractive tiled wooden staircase that leads to the first floor landing where there are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size double bed with bedside tables, a dressing table and a range of built in wardrobes. There are a further two bedrooms, one with a double and single bed and the other with two single beds. Both have bedside tables and built in dressing tables and wardrobes.

The master bedroom and the twin single bedroom both have their own en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom en-suite has a bath with a shower attachment and a double basin area. It also has its own separate toilet. The twin single bedroom en-suite has a walk in shower, basin and toilet. The third double bedroom has a separate bathroom nearby that has a bath with a shower attachment, basin and toilet. Leading from the first floor landing area there is also a separate laundry room that has a washing machine, iron an ironing board.

The gardens are extensive and surround the villa. There are really pretty views across open countryside to other original stone built houses many of whom are surrounded by land planted with almond and olive trees. The villa also has a lovely citrus area planted with orange, grapefruit and lemon trees. Nearby there is a stone built barbeque area that is shaded by a wooden gazebo and beneath this there is a spacious dining area that is ideal for family gatherings.

Hello my name is Sarah and alongside my husband Clive we are responsible for managing a number of select luxury villas on the Island of Mallorca.

Our company name is Celestial Villas Mallorca and we live permanently in the village of Calvia in the South West of the Island.

We are responsible for looking after our villas all year round and for ensuring that they are maintained to a very high standard.

We pride ourselves on providing a tailored personal service for all our guests and this would include liaising with you during the booking process to ensure that the villa meets all your requirements. We will also meet you on arrival and can arrange any additional services you may require such as transport, a grocery service, personal chef, yacht charter and the organisation of other sports and leisure activities.

All our holiday villas are available to rent throughout the year and we welcome any guests who are considering taking a relaxing break out of season combined with the leisure activities they love including golfing, tennis, walking, cycling and water sports.

Our team includes our own in-house golf representative here in Mallorca who can organise bespoke golf holidays for our villa guests that includes advice and guidance on the best courses, chauffeured transportation to and from courses and discounted green fees.

Amazing!

Just a brilliant villa - cant recommend the whole set up enough. Lovely pool, three great bedrooms (with possibility to put extra child's bed in one room) and air con throughout. House has a lovely family feel and all three generations were very happy for 11 days - didn't want to come home, it felt like our home! The managers, Sarah and Clive were simply perfect - so welcoming and helpful and nothing at all too much trouble. House had everything we needed for a super family holiday including a lovely view and a warm gentle breeze in mid August.

The villa is situated on the outskirts of the town centre of Calvia. Calvia is a historic and influential town nestled in the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains in the south west of the island.

In the town there are a selection of café’s and restaurants to choose from. The popular restaurant of ‘Meson Ca’n Torrat’ is within 5 minutes walk of the finca and is famed for it’s a superb traditional mallorcan meat dishes. The renowned restaurant ‘Bar Nou’ can also be found in the nearby village of Es Capdella and is really popular with international visitors for its relaxed atmosphere and great seafood.

There are two small supermarket’s in the village that stock most of the basic items needed. There is also a weekly market that is held every Monday in the centre of the town that sells a wide selection of fresh fruit and vegetables and other locally produced goods such as embroidered linen, clothing and leather items.

The villa is in a perfect location for those wishing to explore the Island as it is within easy reach of many of the islands best beaches, golf courses and tourist attractions. The beaches of Palma Nova and Santa Ponsa are both closeby within a 10-15 minute drive of the villa. The stylish super yacht marina's of Portals Nous and Port Adriano are also nearby and can be reached within a 10-15 minute drive. For those wishing to explore a little further the pretty fishing port of Andratx and the historic capital city of Palma can be reached within 20-25 minutes.

The capital city Palma has a rich mixture of history, architecture, culture and night life. It also has a sizeable port and attractive marina. It is easy to explore its charming narrow streets on foot or for those of you preferring a more relaxed pace, you can hop onto one of the city’s many Sightseeing Buses or perhaps a Horse Drawn Carriage that will highlight all the attractions along the route and tell you about its rich history and culture. For those of you who are ‘shop-a-holic’s’ Palma boasts some top brand stores and many stylish boutiques. There are also a wide array of fantastic restaurants, cafés and bars – many with outside tables so that you can continue to soak up the city’s unique atmosphere.

The Island has a thriving restaurant scene and has some truly unforgettable places to eat in stunning locations. It offers an amazing range of international food ranging from traditional Mallorcan dishes, local seafood, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Thai, Japanese and boasts several Michelin starred restaurants.

Other sightseeing ‘musts’ are Palma Cathedral and the14th century hilltop Bellver Castle. Near the Bay of Palma you will also find the acclaimed Palma Aquarium.

For sports and leisure enthusiast´s the Island has fantastic facilities geared to every activity including 23 professional golf courses and 20 marinas situated around the coast. The Tramuntana Mountains are a real paradise for walkers and hikers and can be explored with local guides or on your own. In recent years Mallorca has experienced a cycling boom and the local government has an active policy to improve routes for cyclists and some of the most spectacular and peaceful journeys can be enjoyed in the centre of the island.

Water sports are a favourite and Pollensa in the north and Can Pastilla in the south have some of the finest windsurfing and kite surfing facilities. The south west and the north east are famous for snorkelling and diving. For those who are even more adventurous, activities such as hang-gliding, canyoning, caving or quad bike excursions are also available.
