About the property

Close to the beach and town a one bedroom south facing apartment with sea views

This first floor apartment offers light and spacious accommodation for two people and is only moments from the beach and a short walk to the ancient cobbled causeway that leads across the sands at low tide to the historic castle of St Michaels mount which is surrounded by sub tropical gardens. At high tide there are frequent taxi boats making a visit possible at anytime of the day. A short walk from the property you will find the local pubs, restaurants, galleries and shops of Marazion. The property also offers a south facing balcony with sea views with table and two chairs it has an open plan lounge with dining area with fitted kitchen and breakfast bar. The spacious bedroom offers double bed, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers. There are views of the sea from both the lounge and bedroom.

The apartment and balcony are accessed via their own private stairway.

A short drive to the west will find the town of Penzance, here you can take the ferry to the wonderful Isle of Scilly, a visit to Tresco Abbey gardens is highly recommended. Further to the west lies Mousehole and Porthcurno with the famous minnack theatre. The whole of the Penwith peninsula is blessed with golden beaches and sandy coves that can all be reached within a 30 minute drive, whether it's the sheltered bays of the south coast or the surfing beaches of the north coast it's all within easy reach.

A car is not essential for a visit to Marazion as there is plenty to explore on foot and the property is just across the road from the coastal path that hugs the entire Cornish coast, there is also a first class bus service and bicycle hire is available within a ten minute walk from the property, taxis are also readily available

WE CAN OFFER A FREE PICK UP AND DROP OFF SERVICE from Penzance train or bus station or too and from any local car hire company, just let us know your arrival and departure times.

Although there is free permit parking at the premises it is limited to a first come first served basis and during busy periods the car park can become full, alternative on street parking and car parks can be found close by

We really enjoyed our stay in Marazion, the apartment was in an excellent location with views of the sea which was just across the road. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed we will definitely be coming back

Pretty and very comfortable apartment

The apartment was modern and very nicely decorated with a large kitchen/breakfast bar/sitting room with dining area. The bedroom was huge with a very comfortable double bed and a large wardrobe area. The bathroom was of a decent size with a very nice shower over the good-sized bath. The kitchen had been filled with all the crockery, utensils, cleaning products and extras that you could think of and the new hob worked a treat. The sitting room had a lovely tv with in-built DVD player and loads of dvds were provided too!

A table and two chairs were also provided on the balcony which looked down the drive to the sea and the edge of St Michael's Mount was just visible.

The only slight downside was there were only 9 car parking spaces between 12 apartments so it was first come, first served in the evenings if you'd been out for the day. Other car park possibilities were suggested by the owners.

The owners met us at the property on our arrival and were extremely welcoming, friendly and informative.

All in all, thankyou for a lovely apartment in a lovely place.

Excellent location

Arrived at the apartment and were met by Lorraine the owner who explained about the apartment and the location.

We had visited Marazion before but never stayed there. To walk to the beach only takes 2-3 minuets and a further 2 minuets to restaurants and shops and bus stops just around the corner. The views from the apartment are across the bay to Newlyn and Mousehole. The balcony is perfect for a cup of tea or something stronger. The free parking is a real bonus. The only thing I could find fault with is that the fridge had no freezer compartment.
