Light, bright and airy our 4 bedroom duplex, with its own entrance and street parking outside sleeps 8, so whether you come with family or all your friends you are guaranteed to have a fabulous time. Large kitchen and dining room, separate lounge with wifi, UK and Spanish TV, terrace, aircon on both floors, 2 bathrooms. 5 minutes walk to famous church square, 10 minutes to beach front, port and pay to use swimming pool. Pets welcome by prior arrangement. Baby bed and high chair available on request.

Stayed in Casa Maltea Property 6899690 September 2017

We stayed in Casa Maltea which is just around the corner from here as the "beach house" was not available. The apartment was clean and spacious with all the facilities needed.

Location was second to none. A couple of our party find it hard walking up steep hills, and although the entrance is on a steep hill it is a very short one. The distance to the beech/ town is 10 minutes.

There are plenty of bars/restaurants around and we found the locals to be warm and friendly.

This was our first stay in Altea, but wont be our last.

Modern, spacious, nicely decorated property

The interior of the property was exactly as in description, light, modern, clean and spacious for our family of 7. Bedding and towels were provided which helped keep down the amount we had to pack. It was approximately 20 minute walk to the beach, down a steep hill. There are approx 10 steps up to the property, which we were made aware of. We had a son in a wheelchair, so it was not an easy task walking to and from the beach. There was parking on road outside the property, but not allocated spaces. So in the eve, it was impossible to park anywhere near the property due to people visiting the local restaurants, which was not good, when you have a son in wheelchair.

Local amenities, restaurants, town and beach are excellent. There is a very scenic part of Altea, approx 5 min walk from the property, with a church and lots of steps heading towards beach. Very pretty area. (not suitable for wheelchairs).

The property was very clean and well equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, 2 bathrooms and a balcony. Very tastefully decorated.

Due to us arriving at 0100, the owner was not able to greet us upon arrival and we were out when she visited the next day, but we had good contact with her during our stay. Could not fault that.

I would definitely recommend this to friends and family and would stay again if our disabled son was not staying with us.

There was an excellent selection of restaurants, one being 2 minute walk up the hill. We loved the beach, very clean and lots of places to eat, and drink. There was also everything you needed in the shopping area.

Altea is a good base for visiting anywhere between Alicante and Denia. We visited lots of very scenic places, including Guadalest where there was a castle ontop of a hill, overlooking a big reservoir/lake. We also visited Benidorm, Denia, Morira and Alicante among others. All were well worth a visit. There is a local market weekly in Altea.
