Just a brilliant week

  • 5 of 5

83 The Square has been modernised yet has lots of character with wooden beams, doors and a great log fire. There is so much space in all the rooms, and the house is very clean and well equipped. The parking outside is a bonus, as is the pub across the road with friendly staff and good food. We had some great cliff walks with the most fantastic scenery. The house and village provided a perfect place to recharge and relax. This is a beautiful part of the country and we will return to explore further in the future. Hopefully we will get the opportunity to stay in this lovely house again- a real home from home.

Ideally rental property

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely week in Fiona's property. It's very homely, warm and extremely comfortable. Everything you need is available and suits family's as well as couples. The area is central for travelling to different locations in Devon. Everyone was so welcoming in the local shops and pubs.

A Hidden Gem

  • 5 of 5

On arriving at the cottage the first thing that strikes you is the spacious lounge & kitchen diner. The property is well equipped (probably the best equipped we have stayed at). It was spotlessly clean with plenty of towels. Bread, eggs, milk & tea were provided as a welcome gift which we thought was a nice gesture. It is ideally located to walk this beautiful part of North Devon. We walked to Hartland Quay for lunch about 3miles and came back using the footpaths across the countryside. We used the O/S maps of the area that were also provided. The Kings Arms pub right opposite was a great place to go for a drink and fantastic fish & chips. The owners representative introduced herself to us to make sure all our needs were catered for, which was very good. The week went to quickly which meant we really enjoyed our stay.

Very well equipped house, handy for the excellent local pub.

  • 5 of 5

The house is excellent, really well equipped for those who want to cook. Lots of extras provided, a little welcome pack, but also more mundane things like washing up liquid, plenty of toilet roll, dishwasher tablets etc. The house is well furnished and there was plenty of room for our party of five adults to spread out.

Opposite the house there is a lovely pub with friendly staff, locals and excellent bar food. The burgers are delicious and the gin collection amazing ! (You don't need to worry about noise from the pub, there wasn't any.)

You will need a car to explore the local area, there's lots to see. We had bike rides, energetic walks on the coastal path and days at the beach. I would definitely recommend a stay in this house.

Truly a home from home

  • 5 of 5

A well appointed and very clean property with the added bonus of parking right outside the front door. Located in a lovely village setting with amazing scenery, Hartland Quay, just a stones throw away. We loved the style, layout, space and facilities on offer. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen and the welcome gift of bread, milk, eggs and butter very welcome after a day of travelling. We would stay here again and would recommend this property to family & friends.

Beautiful holiday cottage in Hartland

  • 5 of 5

We had a very enjoyable stay in Hartland recently. The cottage is very comfortable and spacious, impeccably clean and well-equipped and was ideal for a quiet, relaxing holiday. The lovely Megan was on hand if we needed anything and the bread, milk, eggs and other essentials left for us on arrival were very much appreciated as was the wood burner which was very welcoming on those chilly April evenings! The cottage has ample off-road parking and there are three village pubs nearby within walking distance and a local convenience store. With Hartland Quay only a short drive away, the cottage is in a fantastic location to explore the North Devon coastline and is perfect if you are looking for somewhere peaceful to get away from it all. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back!
