About the property

Well built spacious villa on quite estate with pool, garden and local amenities

Enter property by wrought iron gate, across is a similar sliding gate onto driveway under a carport. To the R goes round to a passageway of lemon & orange trees Front is grassed with pathway leading up to a sun lounge. Here pass through into short passageway to front door. To the left is the bedrooms and bathrooms. The main one is large with large double bed and wardrobes and lge ensuite. The other is double with wardrobe, next to is a shower room and a twin bedroom with a table and chair and access to broadband wifi. Continue along passage to lounge and further seating overlooking front garden, nice in the morning with sun.

There is a well stocked kitchen with serving hatch to lounge and dining room making is seem open plan. Off from the dining room there is a small terrace 0verlooking pool with table and chairs. Go down a few steps to pool and tiled surround. The pool is covered with large construction with sliding windows. The pool is 10 x 4 all one depth of 1m 80 with steps leading down. At one end of pool is a barbeque room with brick built barbeque table and bench and wooden armchairs. The windows slide open which makes a ideal area for sitting outside but out of the sun. Outside is an area facing west with table and chairs and sun umbrella. At the other end of the pool to the side facing S is more seating, table and chairs and sun umbrella and room to sunbathe.

5 mins walk from the house you can walk to a very popular supermarket, bakers, newsagents, fresh fish shop. In Masos de Pals is a very good priced hairdressers. As you leave Massos de Pals is a excellent chemist. They speak English Fr Ger.

From the house you can walk to the end of the road to a small wood and out into the countryside for a leisurely walk, or longer. It is possible to walk to part of the long Pals beach but too far for young children. There are many walks around the area, walks along the coast etc. There are many varied Medieval villages to visit for the history, quaint shops restaurants. Pals having its own unique one. There are many chicken and chips roasted on the spit restaurants cheap places to eat. Several within 2-3 kms oof house.

The sandy beach at Pals which is a 5 min drive to is a long open beach never overcrowded for an extra short walk, with views of the Medas Isles and Torroella caslle high up overlloking the sea. Also worth a walk up for the view but make sure you go with good shoes hat and water. On the road to the beach 2-3 kms along is an English bar called Woko's friendly staff. Kevin is Welsh and keen rugby man. You can enjoy the good company of others Music on Friday night. Bar does good food, snack or meal. If you don't want to miss a important match there is Sky Sports showing all the important matches of the day. They also hire out bikes, also other places. Another large supermarket and shops and a place to book to learn to scuba dive. Restaurants Pizza etc. across road

Nearby is Costa Brava Parc Adventura for children, stay as long as you like for fixed price.

Palafrugell market Sunday morning, during the summer months there is events of singers bands and dancing on in the evening.and Torroella Monday market are two towns worth a visit to see the local life. Palamos market Tuesday is a large interesting old town with many shops pedestrianized. Has very good fish museum also interest children. There are many lovely bays with restaurants bars shops walks boats to visit..

About Ann Turner

We are a retired couple living here all year round. Gordon was a Chartered Sec Accountant and am a designer dressmaker to which I still continue to do for the local expats here. I also belong to a local Flamenco gp to which I make costumes for the 2 shows we do in July.

We met here after living alone here. Gordon came to look for a work colleague who said he'd gone to the Costa Brava to live, so he looked him up and came, fell in love with the place and decided to live here. My story is a bit more complicated but I had several holidays here including one when I came with a girlfriend in my 20s, then it was very rural and back in time but had it's own charm. We both still love the place with the sun most of the time and we find things to do, love going to the market for the very fresh veg. Most of the towns have their market day.

Visit the many medieval villages. Visit the many bays around which are all different with their café bars, shops and restaurants. Visit Begur castle.for the fantastic views. Go to Palamos on a Tuesday to the market and walk along the long beach, you maybe lucky and see one of the big liners in dock and see the town with lots of interesting shops. The fish museum is interesting even for children, to learn about the ways of fishing on this coastline.
