We have two private apartments - This is Apartment 2

An extremely large private apartment

with 2 bedrooms, living area plus a comfy chill out area.

A breakfast terrace plus a sun terrace with mountain views

There's a communal washing machine and dryer

In addition to your apartment, there are communal areas - the courtyard, indoor garden, bbq area, an artist workshop with sofas and tables. A meditation cave and art gallery. Also a alternative library, dvd collection and ping pong table

Le Vieil Hopital is a 16th Century building, with a wonderful history. Its set in a medieval village and has a lovely calm atmosphere.

The village is non-touristic and perfectly placed with all the main hotspots are just 10-40 minutes drive.

Its a moments walk to the wonderfully sleepy village, with few small cafes, boulangerie (bakery), fresh grocery shops, farmers market, pharmacy, bank machine and a big wine co-operative...Vive la France!

un séjour mémorable

Mon épouse, notre fille de huit ans et moi avons passé deux semaines dans l'appartement du haut, au Vieil Hôpital en juillet 2017 et nous avons adoré notre séjour. L'appartement de deux chambres est spacieux, confortable et nous avons amplement profité de ses deux terrasses. Caromb est un sympathique village près de tout ce que la Provence peut offrir de mieux. Axelle et Ian sont des hôtes accueillants et attentionnés. Franchement, une expérience provençale parfaite.

Amazing property in great village location close to Mont Ventoux.

Magical property with loads of history. Chosen due to proximity to Mont Ventoux (possible to cycle from the front door to all 3x routes up the Giant of Provence). Really really helpful owners who are on site, nothing too much trouble and gave loads of great advice re additional cycle routes and places to visit. Terrace view of Mont Ventoux just amazing. Will be returning in the near future.

feeling welcome and at home with Ian and Axelle

We came with a group of 7 cyclist in Caromb in this stay where myself have been before two years ago. The welcome was warm and It was nice to be in this place again. The appartements are good equiped to take care of ourselves. Our bikes had also a good stay in the barn and the atmosphere was warm, kindly and open minded. the house has a lot of nice details in the home decor. We could choose out of two terasses, one in the shadow, the other one in the son with view on the mont ventoux...wonderfull. In the city of Caromb is it nice in the morning to go to the bakkery with lot of deliciuos bread.

And nearby you can get a nice espresso between the local people.

When we go to this area again we will go defenitly back to this place.

Great holiday all round!

I chose the accommodation as it seemed handy for cycling routes in the area that I had found on the website provence-a-velo.fr. It was even better than I anticipated and we hardly used the car as I was surprised how compact the area is. The accommodation is well appointed, spacious and quirky which made for a great stay as did the friendly, helpful hosts. We ended up adding a couple of extra nights to our stay so that we could do even more cycling, glutens for punishment! There is a large garage that we were able to use for storing our bikes which was great too. We ate out daily whilst on our routes and never had a bad meal, some were exceptional. We also found a very helpful bike shop at Beaumes de Venise where we had some running repairs done, FOC, even better. All in all a great holiday and I'm sad to have had to come home but with many great memories.
