Well situated, and ideal for children. The property is well laid out and equipped.

This was our grandsons first time in France and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The property is close to the cross channel ferry port of St. Malo and so ideal for a first foray into France. The play facilities for the boys were really good and they made full use of them, which meant we could relax after a day out knowing they were safe and happy. The cottage had everything we needed and was ideally situated for getting to St. Malo, Mont St. Michel, Fougeres etc.

Beautiful house in great location

  • 5 of 5

My husband, our 2 girls (7 and 10) and I stayed in Wisteria House for two weeks. The house, and the farmhouse it is next to, are located in a very peaceful lane. The house has been renovated to a high standard with lovely decor etc and the beds were comfortable (key to a restful holiday). Was nice that the girls had their own en suite bathroom. They also appreciated the British TV... The games room with air hockey, table tennis etc and ping pong table in the old barn was a great addition. The nearest town, Dol, was very pretty with a lively Saturday market. Everywhere you want is in pretty easy access. We fell in love with the beaches between Cancale and St Malo. Just stunning. Dinard is a lovely town with very interesting architecture. Dinan also worth a visit too as it is so ancient. Clare and Andrew, thank you so much. You have worked very hard on your Brittany home and it really shows.

Great for large groups who like the countryside

  • 4 of 5

Nice bedrooms and lots of grounds. Great for children. Only improvements I would suggest are: information on local walks and a sign on the lane indicating the whereabouts of the farmhouse. No one with a sat nav found it straightaway! Most of us ended up at the next hamlet.
