This modern 2 bedroomed apartment in a new block with private parking in an underground garage and lift is quite exceptional. Although essentially ground floor, it is above the basement flat and has breathtaking Southerly views across the Royal Park towards the rock features known as Arthurs Seat and Salisbury Crags. A pleasant 10 minute stroll through the park from the seclusion of this luxury flat takes you to the attractions of the historic old city of Edinburgh - Holyrood Palace ( the Queen's Residence in Edinburgh ) the Scottish Parliament, Dynamic Earth and the Royal Mile.
There is a large open plan living room with kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is very well equipped with hob, oven/grill, microwave, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The living area enjoys huge windows to the South and West, opening onto a balcony on both sides overlooking the park and the private gardens of the flat themselves.
Master bedroom with ensuite shower room plus dressing/study area. Second bedroom with twin beds. Separate full bathroom with shower over bath. Travel cot and high chair available. Plenty of toys for the children! Free wifi.
All luxury towels and bed linen provided, hair driers, iron and ironing board and a Scottish welcome pack and fresh flowers to help you settle in!
The flat is situated a 5 minute walk away from London Road, where buses pass frequently into the city centre. There is a large supermarket again about a 5 minute walk from the property.

Getaway break

Property very clean. Beds super comfortable. Facilities all available as described. Very good access to all Edinburgh has to offer. Excellent walking of about 10 minutes to the bottom end of royal mile and Holyrood and less to the great park at the rear of the property. Excellant weather during our stay and able to see many Fringe shows over the long weekend.

Excellent Accomodation with views of Holyrood Park, and only a short walk to shops, cafes etc.

Excellent flat with beautiful views of the park, great walks and only a short walk to the shops, cafes and castle, under ground parking is a must which this flat has, only round the corner from a retail park Won’t fit a big vehicle ie Range Rover in underground car park..

I, together with my husband, John, look after this wonderful flat on behalf of the owners, Mike and Elaine. They use the flat as their Edinburgh home when they are visiting their family, and are more than happy to let guests stay here when they return home. They live in Oban, where for many years they ran their own highly successful Bed and Breakfast. They know how to make guests feel welcome, as you will realise when you come to stay. Mike is a semi retired lawyer, and Elaine is a more than full time Councillor!
John and I come from Yorkshire, where we lived until nearly ten years ago. John was also a lawyer, and I worked with/for him in his Practice. Now I run my own small business looking after holiday homes, the roles are reversed, and John works for me! We live in the centre of Edinburgh, with our Border Collie, Robbie. We love living in the middle of this vibrant and beautiful city, and are always happy to help and share our knowledge of what to do, and where to go.
