About the property

2 + 1 bedroom holiday cottage in secluded location ideal for cycling & walking

Mill Dam cottage offers a spacious first floor double bedroom, double ground floor bedroom and occasional first floor single bedroom. The luxurious interior has solid oak floors on the first floor with underfloor heated limestone floors on the ground floor. The well-equipped kitchen has an integrated fridge/freezer, double oven, microwave, steamer & dining table capable of seating 8 people. There is a bathroom with power shower, large bath, wall-hung toilet & basin, and ground floor w.c. The spacious lounge has a large, contemporary wood-burning stove, flat screen TV, music system, DVD player. There is also a heat recovery ventilation system capable of filtering most pollen from the incoming air. Outside is ample parking, two stone flagged terraces and large gardens. The owners have an arrangement with Rivendale holiday park which offers fly fishing & an outdoor eco spa (for an additional charge).

We also have additional accommodation that sleeps 2 in our Hayloft. This is a large studio apartment with a super kingsize bed. It has a self contained kitchen with a gas hob and oven, a fridge and small microwave oven. The settee can also be converted into a double bed if you have young children. There is a dining table which sits 4 and also a separate shower room with a power shower. At the present time there is no TV or wi fi available but hopefully this will change in the very near future. Please see the photos entitled "Hayloft' alongside those of Mill Dam Cottage. Please also phone or email for prices and availability.

About Tania Potter

We purchased Mill Dam in 2003 as a crumbling ruin on a site covered in scrap & rubbish. Since then we have restored the old farmhouse and completed the new garages, loft & cottage to a high standard drawing on many years experience as luxury home builders and leisure developers. A small amount of work is still on going. This will not affect Mill Dam Cottage but please bear with us as we complete the garden to the main farmhouse.
