Comfortable, quiet, lovely setting
Lovely apartment, very nicely furnished, it's light and airy and full of character. Being on the 4th floor with windows on both sides, it has great views but the downside is you don't have immediate access to an outside space. There is an allocated terrace at the front of the house but it's not very welcoming, has no views (overlooks the road) and only gets sun in the afternoon.
The swimming pool and the lovely terrace at the back of the house are only for the guests staying in the stone barn.
Parking is on the road but it is a small quiet road running through the village so it wasn't a problem.
Be prepared to drive as there are no facilities in the village apart from one shop selling bread (limited opening). Check dates of local Feast/Saints days. We got caught out with everything being shut, including some of the local roads! It would have been nice to be warned about this.
Pretty countryside - lots of medieval towns to visit, caves, river trips, wineries etc. Very quiet location - only sounds at night were owls and animals.
