Nora's Yosemite retreat is the perfect vacation spot for enjoying your special visit to one of the greatest parks in the world, Yosemite. Nora's Yosemite retreat is one of two rental's on the property. Long term renter in studio apartment down stairs. Separate entrance and parking.

Nestled in the Sierra National Forest, you can choose from two of Yosemite's most popular entrances. Your retreat is surrounded by large pine and oak trees, some over 50 years old. Our comfortable rustic great room features a classic wood burning stove, comfortable seating, and an open floor plan to the dining area and kitchen. Despite the rustic charm, you can stay totally up-to-date with Wi-Fi, Or, curl up in front of the fire with a good book or a game with family and friends while dinner is cooking. Enjoy the game or race with our satellite flat screen TV, or enjoy our extensive DVD collection for a fun movie night. The dining table seats six between the kitchen and living area. And, the newly-remodeled kitchen features a gas range and everything you need to create a lovely vacation meal, including dish washer for easy clean up. Our full size washer and dryer is in a separate room just off the kitchen and easily accessible.

Adjoining the great room there is a large bedroom with a queen size bed and a full bath. In the living room is a queen size sofa sleeper. Half bath available.
Our great room has two sliding glass doors, one opening up to your outdoor deck with bar-b-q and one that opens to your private all weather enclosed deck with table and chairs for dining, enjoying a glass of wine, playing games or planning your next Yosemite adventure.

Perfect cabin in the woods

We really enjoyed our stay, the cabin is in a beautiful location and it was a great place to return back to after exploring Yosemite for the day. It had everything you needed and more.

A wonderful retreat

We have just spent 3 nights at Nora’s , we had a very comfortable stay indeed. We made breakfast and dinner at the cabin with ease as Everything you need is there To use. We packed a lunch and hiked through Yosemite during the day . It was nice to return back back to the cabin for dinner and card games. It was about an hour and a half journey to the entrance but mainly due to some roadworks but a very picturesque drive . Would love to return one day !

a home away from home

we recently spent a few nights at the lodge and everything was perfect! despite the 108 degrees outside, the lodge was comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped with all the basics like oil, coffee and spices one usually lacks when renting. Whilst not being inside the park itself, the lodge was certainly 'out in the sticks'. humming birds and raccoons were frequent visitors. thank you Nora for having us.

What an amazing hideaway in the woods

Excellent communication with owner, Nora. Precise instructions for getting to the property, which is off the beaten track. Although there are other properties around, it still feels like you are in the middle of nowhere in this beautiful cabin, with large but cozy living and dining area, covered and uncovered verandas, amazingly well-equipped kitchen and lovely bedroom. There is a good-sized bathroom, and a second toilet and washbasin in a separate room. Very effective heating. Good collection of information about Yosemite and Mariposa. Everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. Nora even got in contact to make sure we arrived OK and had no questions.
