An excellent Chalet

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I, with our daughter and her two sons stayed in the chalet from June 30 to July 7 2017.

We were very pleased with the accomodation, which was very clean and welcoming. The staff at the Park reception were extremely helpful and friendly. The situation of the park is beautiful and from the chalet we had a lovely view over the lake. We were able to spend a most enjoyable holiday in the lovely countryside. We would recommend the chalet and the park to all our friends.

The property is ok.

  • 3 of 5

We stayed at the lodge for a week. The location is good but the property let us off. In all previous holidays we always had nice accommodation. The property had some mould over the roof in one of the rooms and there were essential things in the kitchen like forks, bowls etc that were missing. Also we had to buy £10 card for electricity and take our own bed-sheets, duvet cover which we found out after we paid for the lodge. There is parking for the lodge but the day we arrived there was someone else's car parked so we had to carry all our stuff to the lodge. There is a play area outside that we liked the most as every evening we used to go there with our daughter. The restaurant with in the holiday park is very good with good menu. There were plenty of activities to do. Greenwood forest was awesome with plenty of activities that you could do with your little one.

Overall it was a nice holiday.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review , really pleased that you did overall enjoy your stay as the Park , it is absolutely stunning .There is never usually problem with parking, Sorry there was a bowl and 2 forks missing they have since been replaced . It is explained it is a self catering chalet and 99% of this type of accommodation you do need your own bedlinen however from next year we shall be changing our policy and we will be providing bed linen. There is no profit made on electric and most people never purchase more than £5, I shall make it clearer in the description. There was a couple of marks in the ceiling which had since been repainted. The Chalet has since had a new glass balustrade fitted and is looking lovely. We do hope you return to the park again . Thanks
