A beautifully restored 2-bedroom cottage in the heart of Winchcombe. This property cannot fail to impress. It has been sympathetically restored with the highest standard of fixtures and fittings you would come to expect from our previous cottage - The Vine. Everything has been thought of to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Situated in the heart of the Anglo-Saxon town of Winchcombe you are only a stone's throw from the magnificent Sudeley Castle Esate.

N.B. For Stays during the winter months you will receive a free basket of logs and enjoy festive touches such as Fairy Lights, Wreath and Foliage over the FirePlace.

As you enter the cottage you walk into the flagstoned floor sitting room with large hearth and log burning stove. Up two steps you walk into the brand new kitchen with four ring induction hob and electric oven, fridge freezer, slimline dishwasher and washer-dryer. To your right is the bathroom with Bath Store bath, shower enclosure, WC and sink. Towards the back of the kitchen is a pretty recess area for dining with upholstered bench seating and dining table. From the back door you climb three steps into the sunny garden terrace complete with patio furniture. A perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine while the sun sets over the town.

Upstairs is the first floor bedroom with king size John Lewis bed, a wardrobe and recessed shelving complete with lined storage baskets. The White Company linen and towels are provided for your comfort.

From this bedroom a narrow staircase leads up to the second floor bedroom which has two full size single beds and a pretty dressing table. Under bed storage is also provided.

Please note that this property is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties due to the number of steps at the property and the twisting narrow staircase. The property was built around 1800 and has many period features.

Whether for tourists visiting The Cotswolds for the first time or regular visitors who join one of the many walking groups we are looking forward to providing a comfortable bolt hole for guests throughout 2017 and beyond. It is a beautiful row of 18th Century cottages and when number 6 came to the market in 2015 we couldn't wait to invest in it. The property has been carefully restored and renovated to live up the expectations of 21st Century guests with free wifi and satellite television.

At The Feathered Nest you are on the doorstep of some of the most beautiful Cotswold villages such as Bourton-on-the-Water, Broadway and Chipping Camden. The magnificent Sudeley Castle Estate is a short walk away. Within 500yards you are at the gates to the castle and a beautiful driveway leads to the castle itself.

Small but comfortable. Very well situated. Parking was okay right on the street. Local shops not too far away. Perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds. Took out an annual membership to Sudeley Castle and visited 3 times. Still didn't see everything there. The children loved the adventure playground. The owners were wonderful to deal with from beginning to end, very quick to respnd to our questions. Perfect for a family of 4. we would love to return.

A lovely property

We loved the property. The cottage is cosy with wood burning stove. Modern kitchen and bathroom all very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the courtyard garden particularly for an early evening drink. The cottage is perfectly placed for walking, restaurants, shops etc. Thank you for a great holiday.

Lovely cottage

We stayed for a week in this beautiful cottage. We loved everything about it. The kitchen is well equipped, bathroom stylish (with a powerful shower!) and sitting room cosy with a comfy sofa. The bedroom is beautifully decorated with a very comfy bed. The stairs are rather steep which wasn't a problem for us, but maybe for the less mobile.We spent lazy days relaxing in the cottage, afternoons lazing in some of the lovely pubs and even managed the odd walk. Cheltenham is a short drive away and is worth a visit as well as the usual Cotswold villages. Booking was smooth and efficient. We would highly recommend 6 vineyard and would not hesitate to visit again.

charming cottage in a charming village.

6 Vineyard Street is an absolutely lovely place ; from the bright airy kitchen, to the warm living room with wood burning stove, to the cozy bedrooms, it is an ideal get away. The location is fantastic, a non- touristy " real town" with great pubs and charming streets. It is a story book cottage in a story book village.

A charming little gem, highly recommended

We stayed for a family trip (three adults) over New Year and had a great time. Winchcombe is a lovely town, although sadly we did not have much time to explore it in full or to try out the local restaurants and pubs. For us the location worked very well as a base to explore Stratford-upon-Avon, Broadway Tower, some of the famous Cotswolds villages and Blenheim Palace. We found parking just outside the cottage (in Vineyard Street) every time we tried. The cottage was very atmospheric and cute but also very well appointed with a fantastic bathroom and modern kitchen (with dining area) as well as the characterful, beamed living room with wood-burning stove. Excellent use of natural light in the bathroom and dining area by way of the roof windows and we would love to come back to the cottage in the spring, summer or autumn to make use of the delightful little courtyard garden. The owner was very helpful and the whole booking and payment process was very easy.
