Cosy and a good base

  • 4 of 5

Property is cosy and efficient, nicely laid out and decorated. The location of property was quiet and the property owners were charming and helpful. Eden, Fowey and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are very interesting and within easy reach and there is a good walk along the West side of the bay along the cliff in Mevagissey.

A lovely annexe to base your visit to Cornwall, lovely owners who give a warm welcome to there property which is presented to a high standard . If you can draw yourself away from the charms of mevagissey it is a great base to visit some of Cornwall's best gardens , harbours & beaches , .

Arty annexe

  • 4 of 5

We received a very warm welcome from Julia who introduced us to our temporary home which was charming, spotlessly clean and included everything we needed - together with a wonderful art display! The house is very central, just a five minute walk from the shops, bars and restaurants in Mevagissey. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Querky until it gets Annoying.

  • 3 of 5

Lovely people and great location. First impressions are good albeit a bit small. if your taller than 5 foot you will continously bang your head. The shower room is too small to be able to dry yourself in so you have to step into the bedroom where you will probably bang your head.

The hot water pressure is very low and takes an age to come through, the bathroom sink is extremely small and difficult to use.

Be careful not to fall down the stairs when leaving the bathroom too.

The accommodation was clean and perfect size for a couple. Good off road parking. A great location - a five minute walk to the harbour which has a variety of shops and places to eat . Would recommend the ferry trip to fowey and walking along the coastal path.

The property is lovely and open. Plenty of space for a couple to stay, relax. A home away from home.

Absolutely loved my time down in mevagissey and felt very comfortable. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family. Felt like home away from home. The couple who own the property made us feel very welcome. The property was very clean and tidy. In a great location, directly up the road from the beautiful coast and harbour. Place you park the car any size in the drive way.

Mevagissey is a picturesque fishing village with many small individual shops in its narrow streets. It has a museum of Mevagissey in 'Days Gone By', an Aquarium and a Model railway. An interesting feature is that it has a double harbour keeping its thriving fishing industry safe. There are half a dozen pubs and more restaurants and cafes, several of them on the harbour side overlooking the fishing boats. There is an activity centre with a gym.
