Spacious two bedroom apartment, close station & beach, with air-conditioning, multi-channel cable TV & internet. Sleeps up to five people. The apartment has been reviewed so many times that it was one of the finalists in the UK competition for the most reviewed property. It is under 10 minutes walk to the station, tram & the beach on the Promenade des Anglais. Restaurants, shops and markets are only a few minutes away. The total area is over 80 square meters and it is on the fifth floor with elevator. Two English residents of Nice look after the apartment & help if needed. The price includes sheets, towels, water, & also includes up to two hours cleaning at the end of your stay. We have also tried to provide most of the things you need on holiday. There's a hair-dryer, iron & sun loungers on the balcony. Free landline phonecalls may be included

Around the corner from the apartment (junction of Rue Rossini and Gambetta) the restaurant L'Occitanie serves great food at reasonable prices. It’s increasingly popular so be sure to reserve your table.

The Old Town market is a must – the flower market is open every day except Mondays when the antiques market takes over.

Don’t forget the town’s flower festival every February.

The nearby Rialto cinema (Rue Rivoli) shows films in English – take note: the cheap night is every Monday.

For museum lovers, admission is free on the first Sunday of each month. Three or four-day passes are also available for seven of the city’s largest museums.

One of the best ways to see the Riviera is by train. Visit Monaco, Antibes or Villefranche or the Friday morning market in Ventimillia just across the border into Italy. You could also hop on the train to the lemon festival in nearby Menton in February or the Cannes film festival and Monaco Grand Prix in May.

Great holiday flat "Comfortable and well-located apt in Medecin area."

The apartment worked a treat, lots of space and everything we needed to hand. The location is great and we soon found our way around by mainly using the buses and walking. Very stress free. All shops and restaurants close to hand and a great selection. Steered clear of the shops as no time and the Euro not at its best for us at the moment! Liked the balcony for our morning croissants and al-fresco dining. Apt is in a residential block and I liked passing the time of day with the local residents - all very friendly and accommodating with my school French! Plenty of info - maps, brochures etc in the apt to ensure you don't miss out on anything. Owners very helpful and handover very smooth. An excellent week in comfortable accommodation with good transport links enabling visitors to see so much of the Riviera. A 15Euro cart for the buses and trams for a week's unlimited travel is a good purchase. Get at airport on arrival.

Charming apartment in a beautiful part of Nice

My wife and I enjoyed a beautiful holiday of two weeks in this apartment. It is situated in the lovely 'Musician's Quarter' of Nice, within easy walking distance of the sea front (Promenade des Anglais), the old town and the city centre. Also, it is very close to a bakery and a supermarket, and is adjacent to a greengrocery. As for the apartment itself, its rooms are spacious and most tastefully furnished. Moreover, it has a large balcony, with an attractive view: we regularly enjoyed breakfast and, sometimes, lunch there. On our arrival, we found the apartment to be clean and scrupulously well maintained; and, both then and subsequently, the owners' local managers, Christophe and Claire, were very helpful whenever we requested information or advice about local amenities. To sum up, we found this apartment to be ideal, in every way, for a holiday in the enchanting city of Nice.

A great week

Arrived late and Christopher was there to meet us with a cheerful smiley welcome even though it was almost midnight,he gave us all the information we needed and left numbers in case we wanted to know anything else.The apartment is ideal with everything you need and all amenities close by,we found the Casino supermarket on Boulevard Gambetta to be reasonable but the best place was Lidl on Rue Riambaldi up past the station.There is a nice bakery and bar just on the left out of the apartment down Rue Rossini.The train station being so close was fantastic for us as we enjoyed trips to Antibes and the Picasso museum,Monaco (and we won) and the beautiful Villefranche sur Mer for the beach.

On leaving we had a late flight I found on the internet you can leave your luggage at Hotel Interlaken or Hotel Belle Meuniere on Rue Durante for 5 Euros per bag,this was a massive bonus as it left us free to enjoy the day in full.Thank you Frogsite team, we would definitely book again.

Lovely apartment in a great residential area

Traditional French apartment which was well equipped and spacious. A great location, within walking distance of train station, promenade and old town. Fantastic local bakeries to to pick up bread and cakes for a leisurely breakfast on the terrace. Meet and greet service was far more than hand over of keys and really useful. Would recommend and stay again.

A well-situated, homely and spacious apartment.

An elderly couple, we spent a comfortable week in this clean, spacious and well-equipped apartment and found it very easy to reach by airport bus. We were met by one of the couple who look after the place who were on hand to help if required. The owners had provided extremely helpful and comprehensive notes prior to our visit and there was an array of helpful material in the apartment, including up-to-date bus timetables which we took full advantage of to visit St. Jean- Cap Ferrat and St.Paul de Vence. There are numerous supermarkets, boulangeries and an excellent traiteur close by. We have already recommended the apartment to others.

If you know the Negresco, one of the world’'s most famous hotels, then your walk to the beach takes you past this landmark. The apartment is in the heart of Musiciens, a part of central Nice with street names such as Rossini, Verdi and Mozart. This part of Nice was built in the thirties and the apartment is in one of many art deco buildings sprinkled around this district. The apartment is close to the beautiful Alsace-Lorraine Square, with its statues, wonderful trees and great facilities for kids. There are two double bedrooms & the apartment can sleep a family of to six people. There’s a large open lounge with two sets of French doors leading onto the terrace, ideal for eating out. There is also a lovely open balcony area to enjoy the sun.

Ski: The nearest ski resort is 60 km from Nice at GREOLIERES (1400 to 1800 m)
