Modern well appointed 4 Bedroom 3 Bathroom with access to shared pool

Our Holiday home is a south facing Townhouse close to Roda Golf with private sunny terraces ideal for al fresco dining. Four bedrooms equipped with either air conditioning or ceiling fans sleeping up to 8 and three bathrooms make it ideal holiday accommodation for family holidays or small groups. The large air-conditioned lounge with integral dining area, large corner sofa, 32"flat screen SmartTV, WiFi and PS3 make it family friendly. The spacious separate fully equipped kitchen is ideal for self catering and the close proximity of the pool, several golf courses, safe and clean beaches, local bars, restaurants and amenities makes for a relaxing holiday destination in Los Alcazares. We are only a five minute drive from Murcia Airport or 45 minutes from Alicante and transfers can be arranged.The property is fully managed throughout the year and Tania will be on hand to advise on any issues or queries you may have. Our House is our home from home and we are constantly striving to make it a place you will want to revisit and feel at ease. (Please be aware that our house manager charges a 100€ cleaning fee for your stay which is payable locally)

We are a hard working family with two grown up twenty something daughters, who wanted to find somewhere to escape the cold and rain. We have achieved our dream of a finding a holiday home in Spain and would like to share our home from home with you.

Why Jon Pashley chose San Javier

We wanted a large comfortable holiday home for our extended family and friends to visit and fell in love with this house. Its in our favourite destination in Spain and it makes an ideal base for exploring the region and is conveniently situated close to all the local transport links

What makes this house unique

The house is close to all the things we enjoy and the area has many places of interest close by. The white sandy beach hosts a plethora of watersports activities on the beautiful Mar Menor suitable for all ages and experience The warm non tidal sea is always a couple of degrees warmer than the Med and you can sit at the famous Spinosa bar watching the kite surfers whilst sipping a cold beer or wine The world famous Roda Golf course is just 800 meters from the house and there are numerous other courses within easy reach including La Manga only 30 minutes away. Very close nearby is a fabulous Tapas /Wine bar and a wide choice of restaurants and cafes. The bustling Strip of Los Alcazares is a short 15 minute walk from the property or 5 minutes by taxi with its host of cosmopolitan restaurants and bars. Cartagena is a must for those culture vultures with its Roman amphitheatre and antiquities and those who love shopping will adore the many local shops as well as the huge shopping mall at La Zeina just 25 minutes away. The surrounding area is flat which is ideal for easy walking and cycling and cycle hire is plentiful and cheap.

Notes:
Our propery is managed locally by an English speaking company A full range of watersports are available at Bar Spinosa on beachfront and there is a sailing school in very close proximity. Bike rental is available within a 2 minute walk of the property (Costabici) and it is located within easy range of several supermarkets, tapas bars, restaurants and cafes under five minutes walk from the house. There is a fabulous water park at Torrevieja under 15 minutes drive and Zenia Boulevard a huge retail park 30 minutes away on the AP7 to Alicante.

Lovely house

8 of us stayed in the house, plenty of space in the house for everyone. The pool was a welcome relief from the heat and was never overcrowded . The people we met at the pool were very friendly, both English and Spanish. The plaza was about a 20 minute walk , we didn't have a bad meal and the variety of restaurants available should mean everyone is catered for . Very relaxing holiday 😊 Thank you Jon for all your help and prompt responses to all my questions!

Lovely house close to everything.

This was my first time in This area, me and my girlfriend went for 4 nights and loved it. The house was lovely, clean and spacious. Everyone we came in to contact with during our stay were friendly and helpful which was great as we didn't know the area well. The beach, bars and restaurants were also only a short walk away so didn't need transport which is a bonus! Will be returning next year with the family. Thanks!

Nice house, awful area, atrocious management company

We rented the villa for a week's stay. As a business owner and property owner, I don't like leaving negative reviews but feel there are a few topics to address, which the owners chose to shrug off when we mentioned them to them.

Firstly the house in itself is overall clean inside, spacious and nicely decorated. However... The front and rear patio areas were filthy and covered in red soil.

When we were there the A/C didn't work and all we got from the management company were excuses. The owner emailed to say "sorry about the A/C." Not good enough when it's that hot. Even worse when you can't leave the windows open due to the neighbours street parties till 2am.

The villa opposite is occupied by gypsies, who were "processing" scrap metal in the street outside the villa, before setting up tables and having a gathering till 2am. Then proceeding to leave beer tins, paper plates, cigarette butts, and dirty nappies in the street.

Very expensive cleaning charge, very expensive quote for airport transfers each way. Unfortunately I feel the management company is just not providing the correct service.

I did email the above to the landlord who just chose not to respond.

Shame really.

Owner's Response: I have taken my time answering this review to fully investigate the issues raised Our neighbours are NOT gypsies! The house is in a predominantly Spanish Street and the neighbours all know each other. This guests stay co-incided with a Spanish holiday and they like to have a street party - ONE NIGHT! The neighbours have always proved to be friendly and helpful and we have had no other complaints in fact quite the opposite and no evidence of scrap metal reclamation! The Bedroom Aircon failed during the previous guests visit and our Aircon engineer was unwilling to attempt to fix it during a guests stay due to the noise dirt and safety issues. It was a big job! Our house manager explained all this to the guest and even brought extra fans from her own property to help. Its now all fixed and is working fine The downstairs Aircon was working during the guests stay and continues to do so. The night before this guest arrived we had a rain shower. When it rains here it always deposits red sand from the Sahara over everything. The hoses are cleaned on departure not arrival. The standard cleaning charge doesn't just cover cleaning the house but laundering all the linen and towels and is the same all over the area for a four bed three bath house. its the same regardless of occupation Airport transfers are a matter of preference. The management company quotes are again competitive with other meet n greets and are usually more expensive than a taxi. but its door to door and personalised. Please remember that this is our first year in the house and despite our best efforts things do go wrong. We endeavour with our manager to fix everything in good time but sometimes it just cant be done and for that we apologise.

Great location

Close to bars and shops, beach just a short walk away - 15 mins. Villa very well presented and clean with loads of room. TV with English channels if you need it. Had a great time. Thoroughly recommended. I'll be back !

Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay , we were a party of seven and the villa was perfect for us , clean and tidy with all the appliances we needed , the pool was literally at the back of us , we couldn't believe how spacious the villa was , the kids were made up with PS3 and selection of movies , lovley little villa and would deffinatley be staying there again in the future , the owner jon and manager Tania couldn't of been more helpful and accomadating highly recommend 😊

bien pero con cosas

a ver la casa esta bien equipada para vivir igual que en casa propia pero a ávido ciertas cosas en el tema de la limpieza que deja de desear para cobrar lo que se cobra por la limpieza a los anteriores para yo encontrarlo limpio y a mí para el siguiente que también lo tenga limpio tengo fotos pero no veo que se puedan poner pero lo describo.

el horno estaba como para asar en el muy mal de limpieza, los ventiladores de techo no los han quitado el polvo y demás ni se sabe, las sabanas con manchas, partes del suelo sucias en habitaciones, el váter de abajo tuvimos que desatrancarlo. y algunas cosas mas que bueno yo no culpo a los dueños si no que quien tengan para la limpieza se lo gana sin hacer nada. cosa que lo digo para que el dueño ponga remedio y dado que la casa esta bien en general y buen sitio y buenos vecinos para que no pierda clientes a pesar de eso lo valoro con cinco * un saludo y asta otra.... atte.....José maría

To see the house is well equipped to live just like at home own but to avid certain things on the subject of cleaning that stops wanting to charge what is charged for cleaning the above for me to find it clean and me for the next I also have it clean I have pictures but I do not see that they can be put but I describe it.

The oven was like to roast in the very bad cleaning, ceiling fans have not been removed and others are not known, sheets with stains, parts of the floor dirty in rooms, the toilet below had to unbolt it. And some things more than good I do not blame the owners if not who who have to clean it wins without doing anything. Thing that I say so that the owner remedy and given that the house is good in general and good site and good neighbors so that it does not lose clients despite that I value it with five * a greeting and sota another .... atte. ....Jose Maria
