Attractive first line seafront 1 bedroom apartment on the 8th floor on the quality Las Palmeras complex with stunning views of the Marina and sea. Large balcony have furniture with lovely sea/pool views. Apartment have afternoon/evening sun and have recently been fitted with brand new independent AIRCON system to lounge & bedroom with separate remote control units for winter or summer use at NO EXTRA COST.

TRANSFER ONLY AIRPORT TO APARTMENT - approximately 2-3minues walk from inside the airport to the train station. The train journey (approximately cost €2 per person) takes approximately 35minutes along a lovely scenic route. Trains run from about 6.30am to 10.30pm with trains running every 20 to 30 minutes depending upon the time of year. The apartment is within a 3-5 minutes walk (300 - 400 metres).

KEY PICK UP - from our Managers office which is located next to the entrance of the tower block - Monday-Friday 10am to 6pm (not open on Spanish bank holidays). For late afternoon/evening weekday, weekend or Spanish bank holiday someone can meet you at the apartment with the keys for a fee of €30, THIS IS NOT REFUNDABLE. If guests live in UK set of keys can be posted (depending on availability) at no additional charge about 2 weeks before arrival.Please note damage bond will be held until keys are turned to us.

PRIVATE TAXI SERVICE - for late afternoon/evening weekday, weekend or Spanish bank holiday arrivals guests can use private taxi service operated by our Manager. For taxi fare of approx. €40 your driver will meet you at airport with set of keys then drive you to apartment.

Apartment has recently been fitted with independent electric hot water boiler and also has EUROCABLE TV and WIFI which is AVAILABLE ON REQUEST. The apartment has been completely recently refurbished and has especially stunning views of the sea and port. Our Manager's office is located next to the entrance to the apartment block. All the multi-lingual experienced staff speak very good English. The apartment is in a secure gated complex with large pool surrounded by all kinds of services. Just a few steps from the beach and promenade where you can walk for miles taking in the sea views.

Apartments has use of the free unheated Las Palmeras Complex pool which also as toilet facilities. The pool is open approximately from 1st June until end of September (opening hours vary during the season) . Guests can also hire sunbeds and parasols from the attendant at the poolside if required.

You will find numerous bars and restaurants along the full length of the beach/promenade and port. The beach stretches for miles (European flag award). A great choice of sun beds, fishing area and children play areas. There are plenty of activities for all ages

About The Owner

We live in England and both love the climate and often enjoy walks along the promenade taking in the fantastic views as well as the variety of bars and restaurants to stop and enjoy a drink or a bite to eat. We often take the train to Torromolinos or Belamadena and walk along the beach when in the evening. The area around Costa Del Sol feels so relaxing. There is something for all ages here. The area is easily accessible from Malaga airport whether you drive or use the train or taxi services which are reasonably priced

Why The Owner chose Fuengirola

Malaga airport is 20 minutes by car/taxi. Alternatively you can catch the coastal train from Malaga to Fuengirola station and takes 30 minutes.

Walking distance to main road, there is a local bus service stop (across the road) for travel to Benalmadena and Torremolinos etc or bus stop (on this side of the road) for travel to Los Boliches and Fuengirola.

Fuengirola Town is 10 minutes and Benalmadena is 20 minutes away. The well known beautiful white village of Mijas is just about 30 minutes away from Fuengirola Town.Sites worth visiting for a day out is Rhonda with its beautiful scenic route and restaurant stop for lunch. Gilbraiter 90 minutes away and visit the monkeys.

Great apartment to escape an English winter

Couldn't believe this apartment was the one in previous review as my experience was so very different from theirs.

No "wildlife" apart from 1 spider and about 10 ants that were seen exploring during a 4 week stay. Absolutely NO COCKROACHES.

Windows were clean when I arrived. The wind was very high during 2 days in my 1st week and the windows facing the port were heavily marked with a much lighter marking on other windows from the sea spray.

The equipment provided was everything you'd expect with the exception of a sweeping brush and pan. That didn't bother me as I normally mop the floor before I go out shopping etc so no crumbs or dust left. As heating/cooling wasn't needed during my stay I can't comment on the efficacy of the A/C. I did appreciate there being a fridge/freezer rather than just a fridge.

Wonderful views and I really enjoyed sitting on the glazed balcony in the sunshine (using the binoculars I'd taken) watching the port, pedestrians in the afternoon and sipping a glass of wine.

Lots of TV programmes available if you decide to spend the evening "at home".

The bedroom was great as there was plenty of drawer space which some Spanish owned apartments don't have, good wardrobe space with lots of hangers and even a chair to drape the clothes you intend wearing the following day. The bed was a little harder than I am used to at home but I could say that about each of the beds I've slept in in Spain over the past 27 years - with the exception of 1.

I am reluctant to say that I would suggest this is one of the best apartments I have stayed in in this area because it reduces my chances of renting it again, but the truth is that it is.

The owner "popped" in to see me half way through my stay to check everything was OK and that I had no problems - a courtesy I appreciated.

Not happy with apartment

We stay in apartment 832 from 14/12/2017 Till 11/1/2018Well the location was great 😀? But the apartment needs a lot of T.L.C No very clean cockroaches in apartment ,Hot water Very VeryHit & Miss , Windows where filthy needs a good clean 😡?😡? And as for the Beds not very comfortable 😡?😡?😡?😡?😡? The sun lounge round the PYR where more comfortable 😡?😡?😡? In the end the whole place could do with a refurbished !!!! The hop we could not get it to work !!! We have been with Owners Direct before but will not go with them again 😡?😡?😡? Not Very Happy

Owner's Response: Please anyone reading these comments from Sarah ....Please read the review below and look at the booking we get .....many are repeat bookings. We actually visited the apartment an hour after the guests had left and was very shocked how it was left......the apartment was left in a filthy state....also these guest decided to move our furniture all over the place ( they seemed to enjoy sunbathing on the terrace where the table normally resides ) So as we have never had cockroaches reported or even seen any in this apartment all we can presume is because they were NOT keeping the apartment CLEAN what can one expect as we found a very, very dirty apartment Before guests fly we send PDF files containing information, instructions on using appliances, directions and contact numbers for ourselves as well as our Manager. We also ask guests to take the PDF files with them. The hob well at no time was this reported to us or the manager ( or anything else ) their office is at the front entrance and is open 5 days a week except for holidays and the manager has a call out service but what we can not under stand how they left an extremely filthy frying pan under other pans.....and say the hob was not working. For someone staying in an apartment for over a month this is the worse we have seen it left. The windows where clean when we arrived after the guests had left so we do not know what they are talking about. No one has ever reported the beds..... but talking about the bedroom this was left in a dishevelled state. We were certainly NOT impressed with these guests.

Great location. Great apartment

If you want to have good access to everything that Fuengirola has to offer, then this is the apartment for you! Two minutes from the beach. Lots of lovely restaurants. Secure apartment block.

I stayed five weeks, and was also able to take advantage of the apartment's washing machine etc. I'm definitely going to be back.

Convenient and very adequate for 4 people.

The property was in an excellent location and had beautiful views of the marina and sea. We located it easily and it was close to the bus station.I had rented a car but found parking it was very expensive. If I returned I would not bother with a car.

Changeover Day:
We do not insist on Saturday to Saturday arrivals. Occupy the apartment from 3-4 pm. If you have an early flight cases and luggage can be left inside the apartment subject to agreement with our Manager. Vacate by 10 am unless there are no bookings.
