Or lodge is situated in the South Lakeland Leisure Village, a prestigious development on the southern edge of the Lake District National Park, just 1 mile from J35, M6. Double glazed, central heating and lake view. 1 Pet welcome (fees apply), strictly no smoking.

Our two bedroom (4 guest) traditional wood lodge is the perfect place for families with children. The accommodation comprises:

Open plan carpeted living room with comfortable 2 & 3 seat leather sofas, wall mounted, flat screen TV, DVD, freeview, DAB radio with ipod dock. Dining area and kitchen with solid wood flooring. Solid wood dining table with 4 leather dining chairs + high chair.

The kitchen is modern and equipped with the latest appliances, including oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle.

Patio doors lead from the dining area onto the large wrap around wood decking area with outside lighting, outdoor table and chairs with BBQ. The deck area overlooks a tended grassed area with trees and shrubs, and a view of the private fishing lake beyond. Great for relaxing, reading, or enjoying the sunset with a glass of wine.

Master bedroom – tastefully decorated with double bed and fitted wardrobes, wall mounted TV. En-suite facility with WC,wash basin and shower.

Second bedroom with twin 3’ beds, bedside table and wardrobe. Wall mounted TV, ipod docking station.

Family bathroom - WC, wash basin, bath with shower over, heated towel rail.

Private parking is provided adjacent to the lodge for 2 cars.

Bath, hand and kitchen towels are provided, but please bring your own leisure towels for use in the swimming pool and gym facility.

Lodge hire price includes gas, electricity, bedding and cleaning. Also provided at the lodge are iron, ironing board, hairdryer, a selection of family DVD’s, games and books, and a selection of local attraction and information leaflets.. Travel cot and high chair is available free of charge – please bring your own cot bedding and sheets.

Independent WiFi is available in the lodge free of charge.

We have stayed at South Lakes Leisure Village over many years, and enjoyed the location, facilities and the serenity it offers. We hope to offer all our customers the best experience possible, and we are willing to listen to all comments and learn from your own experiences, and will consider any improvements and changes you suggest.

Not only are we renting out the property, we are also using the facility ourselves. The area is great for travelling to the lakes, the coast and inland to the Yorkshire Dales. We too enjoy dog walks around the area, which provide more than ample opportunities for photographers, sightseeing, twitchers and ramblers.

We want you to enjoy the lodge, use it as your 'home from home', respect the neighbours (some are residents), relax and enjoy the facilities. Everything should be available for you, but if not, let us know.

The lodge is situated within the secure park facility, a short walk from the main reception, pool and gym complex, bar & restaurant. The grounds and lake are constantly maintained and manicured to the highest standard.

Use of the swimming pool, gymnasium, training room, spa and leisure facility can be arranged through the main reception. Prices & fees should be confirmed on site at the leisure facility reception.

The restaurant and bar provide an excellent service at competitive prices, all within walking distance of the lodge.

The Leisure Village is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty within easy reach of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Other local attractions include Morecambe Bay, Lancaster, Heysham, Silverdale, Kendal, Kirkby Lonsdale, Grange over Sands, with an abundance of golf courses open to visitors.
