Faultless accommodation and service

  • 5 of 5

The photographs do not do the property justice and it exceeded expectations. The house was spotlessly clean and well appointed, providing everything you could need for any length of stay. It provided the perfect base from which to explore the area or just enjoy a peaceful evening in front of the fire. All communications with the owner were clear and very prompt and I would highly recommend a stay in this beautiful house.

Absolutely wonderful

  • 5 of 5

The Harbour exceeded all expectations. We were hoping for a comfortable home we could use as a base to do some exploring and walking. I totally fell in love with the area and the house. It is a home which I could have lived in forever. Great furnishings and really clean. Love the small touches like the original artwork and the books and DVDs. Would have been nice to have had coffee capsules for the machine but that is such a small quibble. The garden was so beautiful with many spots to sit and enjoy the sunshine. We visited Kington several times. Great gallery. Also great butcher where we bought terrific pies and a delicious sirloin steak. We did some great walks from the house itself as well as from Kington. Visited wonderful gardens. Now the only trouble is that I want to move from Australia and buy a place in the area! Felt total rejuvenated after our stay here. Cannot recommend it enough. Even though I am not good with stairs loved the stairs here!

Well appointed, comfortable house

  • 5 of 5

Very high standard of furnishings and equipment throughout the property making for a very enjoyable stay. Everything that we needed was provided, including ample number of towels (including large towels). Lovely garden with a number of sitting out areas, tables and chairs. Spotlessly clean.

What a fantastic find this was, everything was top class, from the beautiful garden, into the spacious, clean and tastefully appointed house. Everything you could possibly want from a holiday home and more! Very much hope to return in the future, and no hesitation in recommending it to family and friends.

A home from home!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed a lovely 3 night stay during Whitsun half term. The Harbour is a beautiful, welcoming and well looked after home with everything you would need or your stay and more. The beds were very comfortable and the garden was a lovely place to relax in or play hide and seek! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for quiet, peaceful place to stay in a beautiful part of the country, just wished we could have stayed longer.
