A delightfully peaceful, small country house with 3 bedrooms,on the outskirts of Aldeburgh with secluded sheltered gardens for BBQ,s and relaxing . Tresco has been recently refurbished to a high standard. The house overlooks the RSBP (North Warren) bird reserve with wonderful views across the heathland to the sea . Located one mile from Aldeburgh town centre and just a short walk to charming Thorpeness with it's Mere, Windmill, House in the Clouds and golf course and extensive beach. Superb for bird watches, RSBP hide two minute walk across the road. Snape Maltings and concerts 15 minute drive. 2 golf courses (Aldeburgh and Thorpeness) Great local eateries, pubs and takeaways. Next door to Priors Oak wildlife and butterfly garden.

Tresco came on the market and my South African family and I fell in love with it immediately because of the warm feeling the house emits , and is now their holiday home too, so the house is not just a holiday home but a much loved family house also

Bird reserve, views of Thorpeness house in the clouds , sea views and a peace not found elsewhere in Aldeburgh, yet only a five minute drive to the heart of this lovely town with all its history.

The house stands in large gardens and is set in a quiet positon well back from the Aldeburgh to Leiston Road.

Ajoining North Warren RSPB reserve and next door to owners 10 acre wildlife and butterfly gardens. Snape music at the Maltings, Short walk across reserve to Thorpeness and its Mere where rowing boats, and canoes can be hired .Good quiet sandy beach at Thorpeness , pebble beach at Aldeburgh. Sea or freshwater fishing in easy walking distance. Binoculars a must, bitterns and Marsh Harriers across the road .Owners 10 acre wildlife and butterfly gardens next door can be visited, as can her donkeys and sheep. Fresh fruit and produce often available.

Spacious, comfortable house.

The house is spacious and comfortable with everything we needed and more. The garden is large and peaceful. Although the house is by a road it's set a long way back so the house and garden are very quiet. The owner was very friendly and helpful and her garden/nature reserve are fabulous.

The accommodation is comfortable, well equipped, nicely furnished and clean. Garden lovely too. Additionally, Trudie is charming, considerate and helpful. These findings made our stay very enjoyable.

We had a great week staying at Tresco & Trudie couldn't do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay including asking if we required anything providing on arrival which to our surprise she had also baked us a beautiful cake. The house was as the description & had everything we needed to feel at home & the garden was so private we enjoyed many an evening relaxing there. My husband is an avid walker and he loved the surrounding areas and nature reserve on our doorstep. Can recommend the walk to Thorpeness & the charming coastal village of Aldeburgh.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tresco. We were made to feel very welcome and the house is clean, nicely kept and has all amenities you need for your stay. It is situated in an ideal location with easy access to explore surrounding areas. We would definitely visit again!

So lucky to find this place

I was so lucky to be the first person to rent this house after it had been completely refurbished and fitted out tastefully by the very welcoming owner who lives next door. It has extensive gardens and plenty of car parking next to the house at the end of the drive. My favourite room is the ground floor living room with picture windows looking out over the terrace and back garden towards the setting sun. I stayed in the house on my own but would not hesitate to bring my family here as it is ideal for children and adults alike.
