St Helen's Cottage is a charming detached period cottage, the origins are understood to date back approximately 700 years. The cottage is Grade II listed of architectural and historical interest and there are many notable period features still in evident, to include a Norman window, scratch sun dial, Ogham stone, inscriptions as well as ruins of a former chapel in the garden.

Once inside this traditional property you will be welcomed by the effortless flow between the period characteristics and modern amenities. The beautiful Oak floor, rustic exposed walls, latched doors, natural stone inglenook fireplace with bread oven and wooden beams all mix timelessly with the lines of shabby chic design and use of space.



Stone pathway through the pretty cottage garden leads to the front door into the porch with boot and coat storage.

Relax and unwind in the lounge with a old country cottage favourite; Traditionally built natural stone inglenook fireplace with bread oven. Surrounded by comfortable chic styling, neutral colour scheme and Oak flooring; Two beige leather sofas, chair, rustic painted coffee table, LCD freeview TV, DVD player and stereo.

Kitchen with a decorative Rayburn in an inglenook (Not in use) Green painted fitted units with a cream work surface and splash backs. Double electric oven with ceramic hob and grill, microwave, washing machine, toaster and plenty of kitchen utensils and crockery. Oak dining table with 4 white seats.

Dining room with pine dining table and blue comfortable chairs for 6, white washed exposed brick work, painted dresser, an original Norman arched window and patio doors that lead to the courtyard with surrounding hillside views.


Master bedroom - Kingsize bed - Delightfully furnished with shabby chic styled antique furniture, bedside table, chair, chest of drawers, wardrobe and window bay.

Bedroom Two - Twin beds, wardrobe, a bedside table and country views.

Bedroom Three - Double Bed accessed from the dining room with stone steps leading to a beautiful arched original beamed ceiling. Ornate cream painted chest of drawers, chair.

Family bathroom with a white bathroom suite; bath with shower over, wc, washbasin, wall mounted mirror, heated towel rail, airing cupboard. A quaint shuttered window and white painted floorboards finishes the country cottage feel.
