Very Nice Stay in London

The Home Away staff were very responsive, friendly and efficient. When I arrived the apartment was very clean. It is no secret that the apartment fronts a busy street, so the front room has traffic and construction noise, but the bedrooms are quiet. The kitchen is nicely equipped with good-working utilities. Handy access to small private garden from the main-floor kitchen and from the lower floor bedroom. Neither bathroom is en suite. The upstairs bathroom has a high-quality walk-in shower. The downstairs has a tub with a hand-held sprayer. The actual wall shower does not function in the downstairs bathroom. There is plenty of hot water. The upstairs bed is American Queen, while the downstairs bed is American King. Both are very firm in typical European fashion--no box springs. I like this, others may not, but it is not at all unusual. There is excellent storage throughout the apartment, including very nice closet and drawers in each bedroom. The TV has the basic UK free satellite package and functions easily and reliably. The Wi-Fi started out slightly dodgy (in frequent need of rebooting), but improved while I was there. Food shopping and restaurants are very convenient. The flat is very close to major bus line stops. It is a 15-20 minute walk to each of the three closest tube stations. The building is not fancy or elegant, the flat could use some fresh paint here and there, but it is clean and handily appointed, and the management is very friendly and helpful.

Very well appointed, well located property.

My husband and I were very pleased with this property. It is managed by a management company that was responsive and helpful. We were met exactly on time and given a good tour of the property and helpful information. The description in VRBO is accurate. The living/dining space is at the front of the flat on the main level with a bath, bedroom and well-appointed kitchen with excellent appliances also on that level. Access to the garden is down a set of outside steps from the kitchen. At the lower/garden level is another bedroom and bath. The flat would work well for two couples. We would definitely consider renting it again.

Fabulous!

My daughter and I stayed in this beautiful, well equipped apartment in this exquisite neighborhood. It was a pleasure! Elegant, clean, both bedrooms and bathrooms lovely, and there is a great kitchen in which it was wonderful each day to prepare breakfast before heading out and tea all day long! The garden and the garden view from both floors enlarges the apartment and adds even more beauty. Ten minute walk to either of the closest tube stops but through one of the best and most interesting neighborhoods in the city. Thomas More lived around the corner five centuries ago!
