About the property

2 Bedroom 1 Bathroom 1st Floor Apartment With Stunning Sea Views. Pet friendly.

This awesome Beach Pad couldn't be closer to the sand and surf of stunning Mawgan Porth Beach, being set just across the winding coastal road. The family-and-dog-friendly cove sits in the valley between the quaint fishing town of Padstow, famed for Rick Stein's restaurants and world renowned Newquay, home of the UK's biggest waves. It's also just a stone's throw from Watergate Bay, home to Jamie Oliver's Fifteen and a good base from which to learn to surf or explore Cornwall's other treasures such as the Minack Theatre and the Eden Project.

The apartment itself is laden with everything you need to make your holiday a fabulously easy one, with on-site parking, amazing sea views, TV, DVD player, WiFi, central heating, all linen and towels.

The Living Space

The open plan suite is fitted with fully equipped kitchen, dining area and chill out lounge overlooking Mawgan Porth's beautiful beach.

Bedroom 1 (sleeps 2)

A master double room overlooking the gurgling Menalhyl River.

Bedroom 2 (sleeps 3)

A bunk combination with double under and single on top enjoying a marvellous panorama of the countryside.

The family shower room sits between the two bedrooms.

Outside Areas

Outdoors, there are two unique spaces to relax and enjoy the lush landscapes towards St Mawgan village and it's farms. The first allows al fresco picnic dining; the second making the perfect roof-spot for tanning and chilling.

Up some steep steps is where the Beach Pad sits atop a busy seasonal restaurant serving the most delicious seafood and steaks as well as hearty breakfasts, steaming coffees, lounging lunches and sunset cocktails [as a Beach Pad guest you benefit from 10% discount on all food and drink throughout your stay!]

Fabulous spot in beautiful location

  • 4 of 5

It's a lovely apartment in a beautiful seaside spot. Very clean, stunning views, great for the beach / sea as so close and all of Mawgan Porth's facilities on the doorstep.

The access to the property at the back with all the goings on of the downstairs restaurant isn't brilliant but that is small price to pay for the location. Very minor point: we spent 20 minutes trying to work out why a pan of water was not boiling on the induction hob only to learn in the end that the pan was not suitable for induction hobs and hence did not heat up! A sieve (for draining rice) would be helpful addition to the kitchen equipment too but these are really minor points in what was a very pleasant break.

Best view of beach in Mawgan Porth

  • 5 of 5

This is a great appartment. More spacious and well appointed than the photos show. You do hear the beat of the music from the restaurant below through the floor but other than that its very peaceful considering MP can get very busy with day trippers.

Only negative is that beds are not long at 6' in bunk room, and a small 4'6'' doublebed in main room so if you are very tall or 4 adults it may be a squish.

There is lots of space out the back, where the entrance is, for hanging wetsuits and drying clothes but the smell and noise from the overflowning bins and extractor fan from the restaurant below mean it's not very nice to sit out there sadly!

Parking is free in the carpark which is handy, as once you get to MP there is no need to go anywhere else. Fabulous shops and takewaways are all there a minutes walk from the appartment.

We shall be back for sure. Thank you Avis!

A lovely flat in a beautiful location

  • 5 of 5

The flat is very clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The view from the living room is stunning. There are gorgeous walks on the doorsteps. Locals were lovely and welcoming. Definitely recommend this gem of a place and would love to return.

Amazing place to stay with kids!Beautiful and spacepus apartment in the nicest dog friendly beach

  • 5 of 5

Apartment is all brand new, very comfy! Is so much better than it looks on the pictures. The beach in front is huge and cliffs paths around are a must do!

The owners left everything we could need for a perfect stay, felt like an aparthotel

Restaurant downstair is excellent. Very good food and staff is incredibly nice. It was amazing for us as baby monitor signal reached the restaurant without a problem!

Breakfast whilst looking out to the beach - perfect!

  • 5 of 5

We had a really lovely stay at the Beach Pad and did not use the car once! Out on the beach every day with lovely walks across the coast and up to St Mawgan village. This cozy flat was ideal for a super chilled out few days spent enjoying the sureoundings and then back to curl up on the sofa to watch the tide roll in and out. Perfect.
