The accommodation was originally part of the Royal Oak hotel which was divided into luxury apartments. There is one double bedroom and one bedroom with bunk beds. The apartment is suitable for 4 people but there is additional bed settee available in the lounge if required. A large lounge with extensive views to the mountains on two sides. Recently decorated to a high standard with a VisitEngland 4 star rating. A lift is available and the building has Wi-Fi. Own car parking space.

The apartment is a little gem, this is our 4th stay at Newlands and would recommend it to my family and friends its in a central location and is so convenient for all Keswicks amenities.

Large comfortable sitting room....and the apartment is in a fantastic position

When we were there it rained and snowed but it made no difference as there are plenty of pubs .....the apartment is amazing !!!! Everthing is there whatever you need....the apartment i would recomend to anyone......only 1 small negative that is the shower glass screen needs to be taken off altogether....loved it so much we have booked to come back in july next year....

Well kept, very clean and comfy apartment in the very centre of town.

Arrived just on 2pm and collected the keys. Real easy, no problem. The apartment itself was exceptionally clean. We've stayed at the rentals in Keswick many times some not as well kept as this one.

Everything we needed was there. All utensils / cooking-ware etc. Loved the fact that there were tea bags and coffee because we had forgot to bring some. Salt & pepper and vinegar too. Lots of places forget things like that.

The bathroom was fine, shower good with decent power. Clean, as I've already said. Cleaning fluid at the side, always handy if you like to leave places as clean as you find them. Comfy bed and duvet. The only problem I had was the pillows...past their sell-by date but still did the job. Full length mirror and plenty of sockets in the bedroom AND a hair-dryer ! Bonus !

Sitting-room was truly comfy. plenty of space to relax and watch telly or read. A good selection of books which I do like to see.

Would we return? definitely.

Would we recommend? We already have. Several of our friends now have you site address.

Once again...many thanks to Jackie, your housekeeper. She keeps your place spotless. It really does make a difference to your holiday if you know that everything you use is of the highest standard.
