The EXCLUSIVE LOCATION, where charm, good taste and functionality merge in another age spaces and furnishings, with a 50sqm room, parquet, exposed beams and elegant FURNITURE IN STYLE; EXCEPTIONAL LOCATION close to the lakeside promenade (100 m) but easily accessible on foot or by car, convenient to shopping, restaurants, beach (500 m.), as well as for excursions to sites of interest and cities of art (10 minutes from Sirmione, half an hour from Verona and Brescia, 50 minutes from Mantua, an hour from Bergamo ...); Finally, the VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY, make this apartment unique in its kind and a must.

The unit can be reached with two entrances on foot from the pedestrian area, through the elegant private courtyard which has maintained portal, columns and original friezes, both by car from the main road with access h. 24 to PRIVATE PARKING and reserved on the back of 'property, protected by an electric gate (remote control provided by the owner).

The portion of the old convent, on the first floor, consists of: large SALON of 50 m (2 BEDS in alcantara turquoise with orthopedic slats, 1 double, 1 single), with a kitchen area and two large windows overlooking a the main street of the pedestrian; LOFT (2 single beds); DOUBLE ROOM (1 bed in wrought iron); bathroom with washing machine; bathroom with shower; court opened for processing / bike storage sky (rental at 5 min. walk).

The apartment, with a strong personality but very functional, has among other things an original mobile-bar / turntable 30s, Empire style chairs in brass, a crystal chandelier from Murano, TV Samsung 48 "flat-screen area fully equipped kitchen (4 burners, oven, refrigerator + freezer, crockery and all accessories), capacious wardrobes.

Beautiful property in a perfect location close to the lakeside promenade and ferry

We were a family group of four from Ireland staying in this wonderful property at the beginning of May. The apartment was in an old convent building, with a wonderful high-ceilinged sitting room and was beautifully furnished throughout. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. It was really centrally located - within walking distance of the imbarcadero for the ferry service around the lake, and close to shops, restaurants and the lake promenade. The owner, Rosella, was extremely helpful, providing us with recommendations for good restaurants and providing good advice even prior to our arrival. Desenzano was a wonderful place to visit and this apartment certainly added to the experience. We would highly recommend it and would certainly love to stay here again. The ferry service makes it easy to visit other towns around the lower end of the lake (ferry wasn't running up as far as Malcesine in early May when we were there, but it does during high season). We spent a wonderful day in Sirmione and enjoyed exploring the castle there. We also had an afternoon at Gardaland, an theme park close by, which the youngest member of our group really enjoyed - and the older members even tried out some of the roller-coasters! In Desenzano itself, the archaeological excavations of the old Roman villa are well worth a visit. Grazie mille per tutto Rosella! Speriamo di tornare! La famiglia King.

Unique apartment in perfect location

It was lovely to stay in a place so full of character, and it was in a perfect location for us - a short walk away from everything in Desenzano - the train station, supermarket, bars, restaurants, shopping, the lake and importantly, the best gelato in town.

Rosella was an excellent host - picking us up and dropping us back to the train station, giving us excellent recommendations.

We were a party of 6 (including one toddler) and Rosella provided a lovely cot for us.

The whole apartment was excellent value for money.

We ate in quite a lot - the place was reasonably equipped, although we could have done with a few better knives.

The town is busy on Saturday nights, so can be noisy for those sleeping in the main room (but that is just night life for you, the rest of the week was very quiet in April). And the sofa bed in the lounge may need replacing soon.

Overall a wonderful holiday, and a lovely place to visit. We'd recommend Sirmione - so picturesque. I think if we came again we would hire a car, as out of season there aren't many ferries or buses running.

Heavenly Desenzano

From the outset when making the booking, Rossella was most helpful and attentive. She answered all emails promptly and efficiently and was professional, warm and friendly. This contributed very much to the enjoyment of our overall experience. The location of the apartment was stunning. Based right in the centre and in walking distance of all shops and conveniences as well as transport. Just perfect. Rossella provided us with loads of information about places to visit and see and she was really helpful and enthusiastic sharing places of interest. She also decorated a Christmas tree for our stay which was a thoughtful personal touch. The comfortable and immaculate apartment based in a former convent was beautiful and the original period features added a bit of historical romance. Desenzano was the perfect base to explore Lake Garda and beyond. Car rental was easy and the trains, taxis and ferries got us wherever we wanted to go. Super convenient.

We simply had a stunning holiday in Desenzano and Rossella's apartment and can highly recommended a stay to any prospective visitors. Many thanks to Rossella for her care and making us feel so welcome!

We have spent 7 nights in this flat and we liked it really much. It is not that big (suitable for max. 6 Pax in my opinion) but very clean and you will find everything you need. Location is great. Near the centrum, but still very quiet. It is like 3 min walk to the centre of the city. Rossela is the best host We´ve ever had. She was at our disposal the whole time and gave her best to make our stay at Garda nice. Thank you Rossela. We would definitely stay at this place again and we will recomende your home to others.

Lovely apartment wih historic details in the centre of Desenzano

This is lovely apartment right in the centre of Desenzano. The apartment is spacious, well-equiped, and has some nice historic details. Rosella was very hospitable and provided our boys with some books and toys. At the end of our stay, she even gave us a lift to Brescia. Desenzano is very well located and not far from cities like Sirmione Verona and Mantova, an attraction like Gardaland, and of course the Garda lake itself.

Ideal für einen Stadtaufenthalt

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral und doch ruhig. In wenigen Schritten ist alles Interessante erreichbar.

Die Wohnung ist außerordentlich geräumig und individuell.

Für Italienliebhaber: man hat das Gefühl, für ein paar Tage in den italienische Alltag einzutauchen.

Der Empfang durch die Eigentümerin war sehr informativ und persönlich mit vielen Hinweisen zu Sehens- und Erlebenswertem.

Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Kleiner Hinweis: die in der Ausstattungsliste angegebene Kaffeemaschine ist nicht vorhanden, dafür ein ital. coffeemaker.
