the kitchen has a range cooker with gas hob and two ovens,fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee maker and all the usual equipment. all linen is provided, sheets, towels, duvets and pillows.

the dining area seats 4 with views of the river and the garden.

the lounge has an led tv with sky and broadband, with french doors onto the deck. extra accommodation is available for large groups.

Main bedroom in cottage has an excellent king size bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe with views of the river.

Second bedroom has sturdy bunk beds and two chests of drawers.

Parking adjacent to house.

There is a BBQ on the Deck looking out over the old canal and the river.

Stunning.

Property with amazing views, just a mile from Looe town, there is a train track literally 30ft from the verandha the train stops sounds it horn then takes off again, we got used to it very quickly, it's only small, and not intrusive, it does appear to start at 6.30am but for us early birds that wasn't a problem. We arrived with a greeting from a cat, not sure who he belonged to but very friendly, we're not cat lovers but he was kind of cute. Bed was extremely comfy, we slept very well. Shower was good once you worked out how to use it. Didn't use any appliances so cannot comment on them, but everything you need is there. Due to the very good weather we spent one day sitting around the verandha, you do not get bored watching the different birds, we even saw a kingfisher, which is a rarety for us, the Canada geese are very noisy as the noise echoes through the valley, there appeared to be a problem with a rival couple of geese, one night they had still been arguing with each other quite late.

There is another little garden next to the verandha but wasn't sure if we could use it or not, so didn't, you have to park you car tight up next to the door, but the road is wide enough and it wasn't a problem..

There is no cleaning equipment at all, you don't go away to clean, but we had to buy jcloths so we could wash up and wipe down the sides (only a few cups at a time hence why we didn't use the dishwasher). There are no guest information leaflets, guest books,

Truly special place to stay, we would stay here again.

This is a beautiful, self contained property with a wonderful veranda overlooking the River Looe.

We had a wonderful few days relaxing on the veranda, looking out across the river and waving to the train. The cottage has everything you need and there are some lovely villages/ports within easy driving distance. Would thoroughly recommend as a getaway location and hope to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished it was longer.

The location was lovely and peaceful and a great central location for exploration. Though the town of Looe and neighbouring Polperro would keep a person busy for days.

Susan is few steps away and was always ready to help out.

Nice cosy bungalow by the river

Nice location by the river, with the little train passing in front of the house regularly (starting at 6.30 a.m!) Good for birdwatching!

We had a lovely stay despite a few mishaps (running out of gas and electric!) But the owner of the house soon sorted this out for us, and we enjoyed our stay here.

perfect get away

Just had a lovely stay at Terras Crossing, the location is really convenient for Looe with good connections inland too, nice private cottage overlooking the river, the little branch railway line runs right next to the property but trains are infrequent and it wasn't a problem, we ended up waving at the drivers. Cottage is well thought out & comfortable, felt at home instantly, we ended up adding a couple of days on to our visit because we didn't want to leave. Perfect get away.
