About this property

Welcome to Desert Blue

This home is for 4 guests or less. It is not able to accommodate large trailers as it is on a narrow access road and a dead end. It would be difficult to turn around.

Our remodeled home is in the heart of Moab but feels a world away. The house is situated down a dirt lane which turns into a private road with very little traffic. It is quiet and peaceful with a truly rural feel. Our location is ideal! It is easy walking distance to main street; the recreation center with pool and fitness center; paved bike path and many other conveniences of town.

This older home has been remodeled. We have custom cabinets, granite counter tops, beautiful hard wood floor through out and new kitchen appliances. We have three bedrooms and two bathrooms, each with walk in showers. The large bedroom has a king size memory foam bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed with its own full bathroom. The third bedroom has two twin beds and is very small. The furnishings are uniquely rustic and eclectic with a luxurious at home feel.

Enjoy sitting or eating on the back patio in the large newly landscaped yard. We have a BBQ grill on the patio and also other seating areas around the property for you to relax and enjoy the surrounding red rock views. This lot is very private!

Going to town? No need to deal with parking when visiting main street. We have plenty of parking.

This is a great place to unwind after all your Moab adventures. .... come, put up your feet and enjoy!

Gorgeous house in great location

We absolutely loved Andrea's place. It has been beautifully and tastefully remodelled and was comfortable, spacious, clean and well-equipped - a real home from home. The location is fantastic, down a quiet back street with views of the mountains, but only 5 minutes' walk from the main street. A particular pleasure was the beautiful back yard, which is much nicer than the pictures suggest - it has matured since they were taken and is now full of mature shrubs, with a sofa and chairs as well as a dining table under the covered area. There was even a humming bird nesting in the eaves! It was so lovely that we chose to eat at home for two of the three nights we were there despite the close proximity of plenty of eating options. Overall I would highly recommend this house if you are planning a visit to Moab and the nearby national parks (which are very easy to get to). We would have loved to stay longer and will certainly book again if we ever get a chance to come back.

Perfect

Positively perfect in every way! Just a gorgeous home, wonderful location, moments from the main street but so tranquil and calm. Deer each evening in neighbours gardens. Home just perfect with everything you need, very spacious, wonderfully decorated, very high standard and spec. Well stocked kitchen (sandwich boxes so handy for our days out hiking!) After a week in hotel rooms it was great to base ourselves in the same place for a week - laundry facilities really appreciated!!. Fantastic outdoor area to relax in after a day's hiking. Andrea was great to deal with. (If this home was not over 6,000 from where we live and it was available, I would buy the whole thing, furniture and all without hesitation!!). I am so glad we found this property as I was beginning to despair at the choices in Moab. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property. You don't feel like you are in a rental, I really did feel like I was at home. 19 years since we lasted visited Moab so let's see what happens in the next 19 years! We live in Utah and first arrived in Moab 30 years ago. It has been a very special place for us ever since. We are often working, climbing, hiking and exploring here. We purchased this property in June 2014 and have spent the summer working on it. We hope you can enjoy the area as much as we do.
