Fantastic, comfortable house and great location!

  • 5 of 5

We only had time to do a 1/2 week stay, but we all loved Churchill House and would definitely love to visit again! The house is very comfortable and has everything you need to settle in. The hot tub and the views over the loch are amazing! It's located off the crazy-busy tourist track, which is just what we wanted. We enjoyed walking down to the beach and dipping our toes in the loch, dinner at the Harbour View Restaurant in Tarbert and exploring ancient monuments in nearly Kilmartin Glen.

absolutely fantastic

  • 5 of 5

Churchill House, lived up to our expectations & more, all my family really enjoyed our time there, the problem for us, was that it was not long enough, hopefully a longer trip next time.

It was really nice that the owner of the property was there to greet us when we arrived & explained everything to us, thanks Kate

Gorgeous, private rental home with spectacular views, both day and night!

  • 5 of 5

We cannot express the immense beauty in the views from your place, nor how much we fell in love with it! From the distance: mountains, sea, dynamic sky displays, and up close: the colorful, impeccable manicuring of your property. The large open windows to view it all from, yet shielded by the intimate placement of the home on the mountain allowed for absolute privacy. By night, the star gazing from the hot tub after a long day of hiking and sight seeing was as added element of perfection! Your place was immaculate, with ammenities incapable of match from any hotel. This home allows ease to travel to various levels of hiking and exploring the grandeur of Scotland's countryside, historic villages, both loch and seaside views, castle remains, and marina towns. Exquisite dining, and cooking from "home" allowed us to experience local flavors as well as preparing our favorites. We shall not soon lose the magic of our recent visit to your place, and have full intentions of returning again. Thank you for your many hospitalities!
