Villa Casablanca: Wide, luminous and cosy villa with private long pool (25 metres) on modern style. It is situated on a quiet area of private villas, a car is recommended but not essential, some clients prefer to walk to town and take a taxi back home (Euros 3,5). Only 790 metres from a couple of good restaurants and ten minutes walking from Jardín Botánico / La Paz. The House - guarded by a hundred-year old olive- was designed to enjoy the outside from the inside, with large windows in the entire facade transmitting a pleasant atmosphere and great peace. The house received some awards for its stunning design, which was the dream of its owners, an architect, and his wife, an efficient manager.

On the ground floor fully transparent, open and bright, we have the kitchen, dining and living room, all distributed on different areas with comfortable designer furniture. The kitchen features a terrace with garden and wood flooring to enjoy outdoor meals. The Hall is divided into two main areas, our favourite is the the music corner. There is also a single bedroom and a shower room. Energetic swimmers will enjoy the long 25 metres pool.

On the upper floor there is a reading area with a high library. On the first floor you have a Double bedroom and bathroom (and communicated with through the bathroom, there is another room with twin beds. We only mention this when we have families, as that communicated bedroom is only suitable for families, as when both are used, there is not intimacy there).

On the basement of the villa, with private independent entrance, the owner has his architecture studio, but that will not affect your privacy at all as it is totally independent from the villa.

This is the perfect villa for Design lovers. The ample spaces and design furniture makes the house ideal for guest that need to relax, and enjoy privacy and quietness. Having such a long pool (this is very rare to find) is perfect to doing some excersise on your holiday, and relax after on the beautiful outdoor furniture.

What makes this chalet unique

The villa is ideal to be on Puerto de la Cruz, on a very quiet área, but with easy comunications everywhere. On the área there are two restaurants at walking distance.

On central Puerto you can find a wide range of restaurants (typical, fresh fish ones, vegetarians, cool, international, etc), shops and sea avenues with cafés to sit down and enjoy the peculiar atmosphere, as Puerto preserves the routes of the fishing village it was on the past. The perfect place to rest.

Comfortable and relaxing.

We found the villa with no problems thanks to comprehensive directions and were met by the owners who showed us around. It was spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and we had no problems cooking. The pool was on the cold side in November, but still usable. Wifi worked flawlessly. The location is indeed quiet and residential (there was some building work going on at a nearby villa but it didn't affect our enjoyment of our stay). Puerta de la Cruz and La Orotava are a walkable distance away, or a short car journey. We would happily stay here again.

Fantastic villa and lovely helpful owners.

Beautiful modern villa with everything you could need. Slightly disappointed that the pool wasn’t heated so we were unable to enjoy it during our October holiday. Would benefit from a b-b-q and wine glasses l, as had to buy our own.

Stunning Villa with beautiful views

We had a lovely stay at the villa with our 4 months old baby. The owner had prepared the villa very thoughtfully leaving us drinks some milk and even some food and toys for the baby. The villa was impressive in its architecture and there were stunning views from the bedroom it made us feel like we were staying somewhere out of grand design. There were loads of sun lounging options and no plastic sunlounger in sight. The villa was located close to the town but having a car would be best to wonder around. The owners were lovely and very helpful in recommending us places to visit and restaurants.

Belle maison moderne

Situation calme dans une zone résidentielle (chantiers toujours possibles, mais pas vraiment dérangeants). Excellent point de départ pour explorer le nord de l'île (voiture recommandée, mais possibilité de déplacement à pied, en bus et en taxi). Propriétaires très accueillants et attentifs). Seul bémol en période froide: pas de possibilité de chauffage (beaucoup de couvertures à disposition).

Owner's Response: Thank you very much! It is lovely to know that you enjoyed the house in February and I agree with you that it is a nice area: quiet but with good communications everywhere. We only have a couple of winter weeks (never under 16ºC) in February or March, that is why houses on the Canary Islands don´t have heating: it is not worth it for a few weeks, the same happens with the air conditioned, it is not necessary as our summer is not that hot: the difference between winter and summer is 10º-15º. Yes, owners are working very hard for the house and they are very attentive, thank you for appreciate that. We are at your disposal for the future! //Merci beaucoup ! C’est agréable de savoir que vous avez aimé la maison en février et je suis d’accord avec vous que c’est un beau quartier : calme mais avec de bonnes communications partout. Nous avons seulement quelques semaines d’hiver (jamais sous 16 ° c) en février ou mars, c’est pourquoi les maisons sur les îles Canaries don´t ont chauffage : ce n'est pas la peine pour quelques semaines, la même chose arrive avec l’air conditionné, il n’est pas nécessaire, car notre été n’est pas chaude : la différence entre l’hiver et l’été est de 10 °-15 °. Oui, les propriétaires travaillent très dur pour la maison et ils sont très attentifs, Merci d’apprécier que. Nous sommes à votre disposition pour l’avenir !

Modernes Haus mit vielen Einschränkungen

Die Villa ist groß und geräumig. Leider sind ca. 80 % der Schränke zugeklebt und Oberflächen und Schränke abgedeckt. Das ganze Haus vermittelt den Eindruck, dass man als Feriengast unerwünscht ist. In der Küche gibt es kaum Geschirr - die Vermieter haben allerdings, als wir darauf hinwiesen ein paar Teller und Gläser nachgeliefert. Ansonsten kamen wir mit insgesamt 4 Kaffeetassen aus. Die Küche ist im Gegensatz zur Anzeige nicht wirklich eingerichtet. Es gibt keinen Wasserkocher, keine Kaffeemaschine, keine (Café- oder Tee-) Kannen, einen Topf, eine Pfanne ... . Die Waschmaschine konnten wir nicht benutzen, weil sie innen verdreckt und verschimmelt war. Die vorhandenen Betten (ein Zimmer war abgeschlossen) sind für 4 Personen nur eingeschränkt geeignet. Wäsche und Handtücher muffelten nach Keller. In der Umgebung gab es während unseres Aufenthaltes eine große Baustelle, sodass wir 10 Tage von halb neun bis 18 Uhr von Baggerlärm umringt waren.

I am sorry you did not gave us the chance during your stay to solve all this or claim the owner. Now is too late. I will have a meeting with the owner to find out why all this happened, after a year renting the house successfully this has not got any sense. In 18 Jahren habe, die ich meinen Kunden Angebot Häuser gewesen, ist dies das erste Mal wir eine schreckliche Prüfung haben. Tut mir leid, Sie nicht gab uns die Möglichkeit während Ihres Aufenthaltes alle dieses Problem lösen oder den Besitzer behaupten. Jetzt ist zu spät. Ich habe ein Treffen mit dem Besitzer um herauszufinden, warum all dies geschah, nachdem das Haus mieten erfolgreich dieses Jahr keinen Sinn hat. Nochmals vielen Dank für lassen Sie mich Ihre Meinung wissen.

Puerto de la Cruz is the most important tourist town on the north of the island. It is the ideal place to have a relaxing holiday but not being isolated, as it has a familiar atmosphere and squares and sea boulevards full of charm. We highly recommend the visit to Jardín Botánico, Parque Taoro, Playa (Beach) Jardín, Lago Martianez and to have a coffee at Plaza de la Iglesia or Plaza del Charco, the heart of the city where tourist and natives meet. Our must are Mountain Teide and Parque Nacional de las Cañadas and also Loro Parque.

Our visitors are charmed by the different pace of time they find here, where there is no hurry and they can pass the time in agreeable contemplation of the scenery, and savour a fresh fish and a good glass of wine on the balcony of a restaurant. Puerto is a mixture of sea and old and new streets in unchanging time which blends surprisingly with the tourist industry. The Canaries are the only area of Europe where one can really enjoy a good climate in winter
