The apartment is located in the very centre of the city, only a few steps from the Dome, Santa Maria Novella train Station, the Medici Chapels and the characteristic 'San Lorenzo Market', 500 meters from the train station and 7 Km from the airport. You can easily reach by foot the Old Bridge, the Uffizi Gallery, the Accademy of Fine Arts, Michelangelo Museum. Assure an easy access to the city, with bars, boutiques and restaurants not far from the doorstep of the apartment. It is situated on the second floor with elevator, in a road without traffic wich make this apartment very quite to be in the center of Florence. The interior is fine furnished, it features the tipicals woden beamed ceiling and it's composed of a living room with walnut wood furnitures, a bedroom with two single beds wich can be easily joined to make a king size bed, a bathroom with shower unit and a separate kitchen fully equipped. Bed linens and towels are provided. Internet Wi-Fi acces. All costs are included.

Great location in Florence

Perfectly located in the middle of Florence, a few minutes walk from all the major attractions and only a couple of minutes from the main train/tram station. Great value for money.

Little taster of Florence

The apartment was just as advertised and we were met and greeted and had good contact via messenger should we have needed anything. We made use of the kitchen and the children had a fold out bed in the living room. Despite being very central (between the train station and the Duomo, which was very good for us) it was very quiet at night. The apartment is naturally dark which I imagine keeps it cool and means that at night it is dark but we did find it hard to dry our washing (which we necessarily had to do). We used the kitchen to cook a simple meal of things we'd picked up from the Mercato which is very close, and I think is open until 2 pm. Overall excellent, and we would stay again.

Perfect apartment and location.

My husband and I spent 8 days in Florence. We had planned our excursions first, and found this apartment to be close enough to the train station where our two longest excursions were leaving and returning. Giovanni's apartment is within a short walk from the train station, and with the convenience of many restaurants just down the street, after a long day it was wonderful to drop off packages and then head out to dinner with a short walk back to the apartment. The elevator is a plus. My husband and I are in our early 60's, so after walking 6-8 miles a day, the elevator was a welcoming site. Construction/updating was going on in the corridor where the apartment is located making the area look a bit brighter. The size of the apartment was perfect for our needs and had no issues. I did have a bit of a problem working with the actual site I used to secure the apartment, but Giovanni was the perfect host and worked with me to be sure we had his apartment. Also, the apartment was available to check in earlier on the day we arrived (we came from the US and being able to settle in after traveling for an extended period of time and with the time change was a huge plus). Giovanni arranged for his Mom to meet us at the apartment. She was very gracious and spoke enough English to let us know how to use the kitchen, where to take out the garbage ( just down the street), the grocery stores and the local meat and fruit market. Everything we needed was so close. I would recommend this apartment and look forward to returning in the near future!
