Very Pleasant Holiday House

We very much enjoyed our stay at this house. The atmosphere was very pleasant and there are several nice seating areas both inside and outside the house. It's a couple miles into the town and parking is very limited there. So the bicycles are essential as it's a bit of a long walk. This was the one disappointing aspect of our experience. The quality of the bicycles was not very good. We did some maintenance on a couple of them which helped but they certainly weren't the sort of bikes you would want to take on a long ride along the many miles of attractive cycle trails in the area. Overall, we definitely enjoyed our stay but it would be great if some better bicycles were provided.

Great location

Clean property with everything you need for a fabulous holiday. Bikes were great to see the local area and thoroughly enjoyed the pool. Lots to do and see.

Beautiful property in a lovely quiet location

We booked at short notice without knowing the area at all. The house is beautiful and absolutely spotless. The location is a quiet residential area which was just what we wanted. The bikes were a great addition and allowed us to cycle to town, pick up pizza etc.

Lovely villa, great location

This was our second visit to this lovely property and the whole family enjoyed our rather warm week in Andernos-les-Bains. It's a great location, and 10 min gentle cycle into the town for some great food/ice cream options, and a little over an hour's cycle along great cycle paths to our favourite beach, Grand Crohot. The owners are great to deal with and very communicative. Will deifnitely stay again if we get the chance.

Excellent - lovely, clean property with pool - quiet location on the outskirts of Andernos Les Bains

We spent 2 weeks here in August 2018 - we're a family of 5 (3 children aged 8 to 15) and the property is ideal for a family (up to 6 people). The property is in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Andernos Les Bains. If you want a quiet area to spend time together then it is ideal. The main town/beach area is around 40 minutes walk but there are bicycles provided and also a local bus service. The pool is superb, plenty of sunloungers and chairs provided, table tennis table. Excellent communication from the property owner and the local representative who was available at short notice if required. I can highly recommend the property and the location for anybody that would like a quiet and relaxing holiday with access to local facilities (restaurants/beach/shops/supermarket within 2-3km).

Many changes have led us to live in different places; Orange; Reims, Rochefort, Chambéry, Corsica and the Bassin d'Arcachon.

We particularly like contact with people from wherever they are.

Our villa is located on a fully enclosed plot in a very nice neighborhood near the forest.
It is ideal for families with young children.
5 bikes are at your disposal and the bike path nearby will allow you to reach the city and the beach very quickly.
From the villa, a few steps along a path you will enjoy walks in the forest (it is not uncommon to cross a deer, a rabbit, and many other animals nearby).
From this path, you will join 'Escalade Parc', as well as the various facilities of the sport complex (football field, rugby, petanque, skate park, tennis etc ...)
The casino of Andernos les Bains is also nearby.
This villa is entirely at your disposal, and you will feel at home during your stay.
For an exceptional holiday on the Arcachon bay.
