This fabulous south facing ground floor apartment overlooking La Croix Valmer and the Mediterranean is ideal for couples or small families. We describe it as an apartment but it is actually a semi-detached villa ! It consists of lounge/diner, bedroom 1(double bed), bedroom 2 (bunk beds), mezzanine (double futon bed), new kitchen (2009) area , separate shower room with wash hand basin, separate WC. Patio doors open up the lounge onto terrace to provide stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. The property suits couples or families with children, kids/teenagers will love the bunk beds or the mezzanine floor above the lounge area. Location is ideal for the beaches of the Southern Coast where some of the warmest weather can be found even for the south of France. Les Palmiers is a very well maintained property with communal swimming pool, tennis courts and poolside café. The apartment is well appointed with everything you need to enjoy a holiday on the French Riviera.

Great news on flights to Provence from south east of UK & also Dublin... there are budget flights operating now from Stansted to Marseille, please check the RyanAir, Easyjet, Aer Lingus websites for dates and amazing prices. Nice Airport about 90 min drive, Marseilles is about 1 hr drive with very little traffic on the route, Toulon/Hyeres even closer, Car Rental is available from all Airports.

Allocated parking space right outside the front door. Front entrance door reached by one or two steps. The outside sun patio/terrace area is fantastic, faces south & has wonderful views out onto the Mediterranean. It is in the sun for most of the day and will really suit sun worshippers. There is also a small stepped garden, so we advise parents to supervise children here at all times. (through sliding patio doors) New fitted kitchen (Mar 09) SKY TV decoder (most of UK TV), flat screen TV, DVD player. Tennis can be pre booked from the facility. Swimming pool area with sunbeds, coffee shop with tables, chairs, parasols, etc., where you can sit and watch your children play.

Lovely apartment in great location!

I'm reluctant to say too many good things about this apartment for fear it will become too popular! The location is superb and the south facing terrace offers a superb vista across the hills to the sea. We are a small family with one 7-year old and the accommodation was perfect for us. Although small, it is very well-equipped with washing machine, fridge freezer (a good size one), Sky TV (if you want it) and fast wireless Internet provided free of charge. The main bedroom has a window that looks out over the rear terrace, a very comfortable double bed, wardrobe and drawer unit. The second bedroom is very small but the owners have managed to install two bunk beds and a chest of drawers. There is also a mezzanine floor with restricted head height above the kitchen/living area which has a double futon bed - a great play space for our youngster. The apartment was meticulously clean on arrival and Sharon & Jonathan were attentive to our needs, especially when the fan broke down and a replacement was needed. The shared swimming pool and tennis court are a short walk downhill from the apartment, with wrist bands provided to indicate you are a resident. The main pool is a really good size with a smaller children's pool adjacent to it. Be warned that you must wear trunks or speedos to swim - no swimshorts or bermudas allowed (the pool manager is very strict about this!). The town centre is a 10 minute walk down some steep slopes but has everything you need including two very good bakeries, a small supermarket and a bank. Altogether, highly recommended, but please don't tell anyone else!

Relax at La Croix Valmer ('Seele baumeln lassen')

We (German couple in the sixties, occasionally visited by grown-up kids) have spent during the last two years our June-holidays at this appartment/house located at La-Croix-Valmer. We appreciate since decades this more quiet, but highly diverse part of the Côte d'Azur-Provence, and notably the bay of Cavalaire, the Massif de Maures or the Alpes Provencale. La Croix Valmer is an excellent base to explore the rich natural & cultural beauties of the region.

The some 45 m² big appartment/house is perfectly and nicely equipped with all means that are necessary to make your stay (even in case of rainy weather) enjoyable: furniture of kitchen excellent, of sleeping rooms o.k., sofa and chairs in living room fine, only english TV (fortunately or unfortunately ?).... and the most stunning attraction is the terrace (and a tiny garden that is inviting you to 'arroser les plants' from time to time) with a marvelous view on the Mediterranean sea ... and a nice Yucca-palm tree.

The description of the property is absolutely correct. The layout of the prospect, too, that 'seduced' us to apply immediately for a reservation. The customer service provided was great, and thus, we would recommend the property to friends - but not too many, otherwise we might face problems in booking 'our' place in future.

As already mentioned the region provides numerous busy attractions: local markets everywhere, St. Tropez (if you can stand the crowds), Ramatuelle, Gassin, St. Maxime, Le Lavandou etc., pretty big (Cavalaire) or small (L'Escalet) sandy beaches, vinyards, lonely (!) forests and 'garrigues'. Plenty of restaurants (affordable Pizzerias or more expensive 'good' French restos) could be an alternative to the terrace of the property - but mostly we appreciated aperitifs and moon- or starlight dinners at 'our home' terrace.

(no 64431) - Property Review

My husband and I stayed a week in this apartment with our 2 children (aged 3 & 7). We had a fantastic week, and were impressed with the facilities the apartment had to offer. The terrace area was a highlight as it provided an extra room (very sunny) with impressive views to the sea. It was within easy walking distance to la Croix Valmer a lovely, lively town with restaurants ("The Patio" restaurant is very nice) and shops and a good Sunday market.

When we arrived the apartment was spotlessly clean and had many little extras (candles, bin liners, dishwasher tablets etc) which could be used. The children loved having the SKY channels (CBeebies) available....not that they watched much after full days on the beaches!

The mezzanine floor level would be ideal for couples or older children. The 2nd bedroom which had bunkbeds were ideal for our 2 children (we then used the mezzanine to store our suitcases etc). We would have no hesitation of rebooking this accomodation if were were to revisit this area of France again in the future.

Great Location

We spent a fantastic week at the apartment. It was very clean and very well equipped. The view from the terrace is fantastic and we spent many nights eating and enjoying a glass or two of wine looking out towards the Med. Great patisserie and well stocked supermarket only a short walk away. Beautiful beaches only a ten minute drive. We hope to return soon

We had a very enjoyable family holiday in this lovely, well equipped apartment. The view from the patio area was excellent and we'll miss our lazy evenings looking at the Mediterranean with a glass of wine!
