ADVANTAGE OF THE PROPERTY

The apartment is situaded in La Morra’s centre at the hightest point of the first village of Barolo Region. It borders with the San Rocco Church which was built in the 18th century.
You’ll find the property in the historical centre, directly opposite the town hall and the impressive Barocca church dedicated to San Martin (the patron saint of the village).
The famous CANTINA COMUNALE (see photo), the Gallo Wine Gallery, and the Barolo’s wine Cellar are just a short walk from the residence.
Amoung its shelves is a grand choise of bottles of local wines, or otherwise you may choose to wandel through Bastioni with its beautiful views of surronding vineyards facing your residence.
And for those wishing to stay in the centre of town, a short stroll away you’ll find shop, restaurants, pubs and vineyards and the “Seven paths to Barolo” that you’ll find between the vineyards.
So, why choose to stay at La Morra? Because it’s the most well known village in the “Langarole”
Hills and because at 513 s/l it’s highest region in the area sporting panoramic views. It’s no wonder it has come to be known as “Belvedere delle Langhe” (the lookout point of the Langhe Hills).
Also, it’s a village situated between working vineyards with a large portion of “Vineyards di Nebbiolo” the oldest native vine of black grapes of Piedmont. One of the most noble and precious types of grape in Italy which has given rise to a series of great wines including Barolo, Piedmont’s Pride in the wine world. In the apartment there is Wi-fi.

A Week in the Langhe

Mariella's apartment was the perfect home away from home to explore all that is wonderful about the Langhe. We have been to this region of Italy before and have always stayed in inns and B&Bs. This time we wanted to partake in all that the great farmers markets and food shops had to offer by enjoying some meals back at the apartment after a day of touring. Mariella was always available for questions and inquiries. She met us for coffee one morning and went out of her way to help us address a sort of "self-inflicted" problem. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay in Mariella's apartment. It was perfect for the three of us (2 adults and one child). The apartment itself is spotlessly clean and has everything you need and more. Mariella and Franco were there to greet us, provided all the information we needed and kept in touch throughout our stay. La Morra itself is a wonderful town and the apartment is perfectly situated in the old town. La Morra has everything you need. We also visited many other lovely towns in the region - Alba, Asti, Barolo, Barbaresco, Nieve etc. and whilst these were all beautiful we were glad we were staying in La Morra, it was perfect. I would recommend a visit to Piedmont if you want to experience wonderful scenery, food, wine and people and would definitely go back to Mariella's apartment and La Morra.

Mukava asunto loistavalla sijainnilla

Vietimme 9 yötä Mariellan huoneistossa kesäkuun alussa. Huoneisto on erittäin mukava ja kotoinen, hieman hämärä tosin. Olemme käyneet Piemontessa useasti, mutta mukavampaa kylää kuin La Morra on vaikea löytää. Sijainti keskellä Barolon viinialuetta on täydellinen eikä Maailman perintökohdestatuksen saaneeseen Barolon viinitilamaisemaan voi kyllästyä. Tänne uudestaan! We spent 9 nights in Mariella's apartment in the beginning of june. The apartment is very nice and cosy, a bit dim though. We’ve been in Piemont many times before and haven't seen a nicer village than La Morra. The location in the middle of Barolo area is perfect and you cannot get bored with the UNESCO World Heritage view to the Barolo vineyards. We will definately return.

Great location in La Morra

The apartment is very well stocked and has a view out the bathroom window to the far hills that I loved. The living-space has a view of the street and also a large courtyard with a view of the valley below. Everything was very clean and the help from Emanuela really made check-in easy. She also had wonderful advice about the surrounding country side. We were very happy with the restaurants and wineries she suggested. The tourist information in town where the attendant speaks english was very helpful. All in all a great week.

Very comfortable and well...

Very comfortable and well equipped apartment. Immaculately clean with modern decor. Quiet but central location in attractive village. Good base for touring the region. Very helpful hosts. Restaurants and other amenities within easy walking distance. Would definitely recommend without hesitation. A very enjoyable stay.
