Be seduced by our apartment ideally located overlookingf the Canal Saint Martin, in the 1990's reconstructed building on the site of the mythical Hotel du Nord, whose façade has been preserved.

It is located on the 1st floor with access secured by a digicode and an intercom.

You'll love this flat crossing, modern, and atypical, tastefully equipped and comfortable. Very pleasant to live, it includes a large living room (living room, dining room and open kitchen) giving Southwest on the channel, a room looking northeast on a terrace garden flowers and trees and a bathroom in marble with shower, washbasin and toilet.

Open, light, great location!

Great flat. Light, open, sparklingly clean, well equipped. Marie was very accommodating at check-in and out. Would happily return or recommend to friends!

Accessible and wonderful

Marie is a gem of a landlady who goes way out of her way to be kind to strangers in a strange land. As just one example, I'm notorious for getting lost, and she offered to make the twenty minute walk with me to the train station to make sure I made it. She's wonderfully generous with the foodstuffs she stocks in the apartment so you don't have to run out the minute – Heck, even the day – you get there. I need a mobility scooter to get around, and Marie's flat worked great, which I imagine is not too easy to come by in Paris. Mind you, my scooter is a small one made for travel. The doors and the "curbs" leading into the building were a little difficult, but I think I could've managed them even on my own. Luckily I had a friend with me, so I didn't have to. I really appreciated Marie's honesty in warning me about these potential barriers, so my friend and I could think about how to handle them, even whether to handle them. The apartment is beautiful, and beautifully decorated. You can sleep two in the bedroom, and two more on the comfortable pullout sofa in the living room. Marie provided an air mattress for the friend who stayed with us for a few days in case we needed it, which was greatly appreciated, although we didn't actually use it. Through a window/door in the bedroom we had access to a glorious big, quiet terrace. The location is unbeatable, in the quirky Canal St. Martin neighbourhood, right on the canal and not too far and not too close to the crowded and expensive centre of tourist Paris. It's easy to overlook how important comfortable furniture is, but Marie's flat was a great place to flop and relax after a tough day of having fun. The sidewalk café almost under the windows is very noisy in the evening, but fine once you close the windows. I don't want to stay anywhere else the next time I come to Paris.

Excellent experience

This very comfortable, very clean and well equipped apartment was the perfect homebase for our nine day vacation in Paris. It’s a great neighborhood with an easy walk to a metro station, and lots of very good restaurants. The owner was extremely gracious, providing delicious bread, milk, juice, jam, even champagne! She was also readily available to greet us, and to provide advice when we had questions. We could not have asked for more!

Great apartment for 2

Property was in a nice neighborhood with restaurants any which way you looked. Roughly a 35-40 min walk to the Seine, and close to the metro if you want to ride the subway. It is cozy but plenty of space for 2 adults. We really enjoyed staying here.

I appreciate life in Paris and between my trips to shows or expos, I go back home with much satisfaction and well beeing . tIn its large volume, I feel good. It is very comfortable, with his electric sleeping and relaxation armchairs. And it has all the facilities you could want.
