A charming and bright apartment with kitchen/living room, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms has been created in the annex of the property.
The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, oven, and all accessories.
Outside there is a dining and relaxation area in the shade of large trees. Guests can enjoy the large swimming pool (7X14) with umbrellas and sunbeds available.
The house is located in a convenient position to reach the great beaches of the Tuscan coast and the cities of Pisa, Lucca and Viareggio in a few minutes. In the nearby Torre del Lago Puccini it is possible to watch the performances of the famous master's works in the open-air theatre. For nature lovers it is possible to go for walks and visits to the nearby Lake Massaciuccoli, go cycling or horse riding.

Amazing

What a fabulous house, amazing setting, magnificent swimming pool. We couldn’t ask for any more or any better. The hosts were very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. We would wholeheartedly recommend this villa to anyone. Truly magnificent.

Roverto Azzuro Fantastic views,lovely house.

The property was big,clean and well equipped as it is Roverto’s home. Sitting on the veranda day or night was wonderful the views are fantastic from its elevated position,evenings are especially nice as you watch the sun go down over the lake in the distance. The pool is fantastic,it’s large and deep very clean with a spring board which the kids loved. The problem though is getting to it as it’s a bit of a trek (almost have to pack for a day trip) there’s 2 flights of stairs through the house,the garden to traverse then 2 upward slopes of grass and dust that narrow with no hand rails then 15-20 concrete uneven steps through trees and a final slope after to get to the pool which you don’t want to do twice a day in flip flops! If you’re in any way unsteady or with a disability you won’t go to the pool. It is also swarming with honey bees that use it as a water source(there are hundreds of them around the pool all day long,they didn’t stop us using it as they do keep themselves to themselves although I got stung several times (not painful though? A fridge or cool boxes at the top would help as carrying beer there is a major task and you can’t keep it cool. They also ask you to vacate the pool at 8 o’clock. Maccio their dog is a constant companion whilst you’re there as he has a free run of the property he’s very friendly though and eats bees.😁 The driveway is really only accessible by car it’s narrow and steep we had a minibus and struggled to get around the hairpin half way up and it’s only just wide enough with a drop off both sides. All that aside Narsico and Roverto are lovely and leave you alone but very helpful when needed they printed off tickets for us for to the opera at torre del lago across the lake. There are plenty of restaurants near by (a car needed). The bins have to be emptied and taken to the bottom of the drive everyday (a different colour everyday) as they are not very big and this was a bit of a pain. We had a lovely time here it is very peaceful,the WiFi kept the teenagers quiet. Our eyes were also opened by the young ladies along the road side enroute to the supermarket sitting under umbrellas scantily clad selling their wares and of an evening where their wares were fully on show and shaken into your headlights! (I kid you not). The trek to the pool and the bees though would stop me booking again.

Wonderful stay near Lucca and the coast

We spent 2 weeks in this beautiful house and enjoyed every moment. We are two families including 3 teenage boys, the house is very big so that everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. As usual in July, the weather was very hot so we were glad that the bedrooms have a/c. In addition, all windows in the bedrooms had very good fly screens so we didn’t have to worry about mosquitos. We have only one tiny little suggestion for improvement: We could have used 1 bigger pot to cook our spaghettis, we had to work with 2 small ones so it just took longer to have dinner ready for 7 people. The pool was fantastic, the view up there is really great. There are sufficient sun beds for everyone and even a fridge is available for cold drinks. The location is ideal, between Lucca and the coast. We went to see Lucca (20 minutes), Pisa (25 minutes), Livorno (40 minutes), Florence (70 minutes) and San Gimignano (90 minutes), Beaches at Viarregio are also just 30 minutes away, so there is a lot to do if you want to. Good choice of restaurants near by. A big thank you to Roberta and Narciso who made us feel very welcome and are wonderful hosts, together with their 2 dogs that must surely be the best good boys in Italy. We had a fantastic holiday and would love to come back one day.
