Lerici apartment

We had 5 days at the apartment and it met all of our expectations, and that view!! The pictures do not do it justice. We could have spent all day just soaking it in. On our first day we followed the path to town, identified by the red and white strips on the track. We also use a free app for me.maps which helps finding the paths and does not require data use. Ok going down, required several stops coming back. Advise use of multi storey car park in the town, especially when shopping. We used the supplied barbecue twice, which was great, hope we didn’t smoke out the neighbours too much as it is not lidded. The pesto sauce that was left for us was superb. I commend the Italian recycle system. Very efficient, unfortunately we missed the bottle collection as we didn’t find the chart until the collection day had passed, apologies. Thank you to Paolo and Laura for such a warm welcome and comprehensive introduction to the property. We would be happy to recommend the apartment to friends and family. We have some lovely memories of our stay to this beautiful part of Italy.

Charming apartment in gre...

Charming apartment in great location with spectacular views. Grateful for A/C in bedrooms during heatwave and lovely to have both a terrace and patio/garden providing shade at different times of day. The apartment was mostly quiet, with occasional sounds from events in Lerici wafting up the hill. The apartment seemed reasonably clean. We rented a scooter which made getting around and parking much easier (especially at the beach and in the centre of Lerici)though there is also a bus service into town from the stop at the bottom of the steps going down from the apartment. (We walked down once (20 mins) and caught the bus back up - it is pretty steep.) La Serra has two nice restaurants that are a 10/15 minute walk away, one of which has stunning sunset views,(L'Orto di Ameste). The other is called Miro and serves delicious pasta and sea-food. There is a choice of beaches - we liked San Terenzo because of the view back to Lerici and the wider beach, but there are coves all the way along the coast. Not sure the castle at Lerici is worth a visit to the interior unless you can read Italian. Beware of mosquitoes at sunset if you are down by the water - silent, but deadly! There is a small supermarket in Lerici - the quality of the fruit and veg there was extremely high. Tellaro was very pretty and a lovely drive along the coast road to get there (have coins ready for the parking fees). Be prepared for aching calf-muscles if you're not used to climbing and descending hundreds of steps. We found out all the above information by ourselves without too much difficulty, but would have been great to have some basic information available in the apartment (shop locations and bus-stops and opening times etc), although there were one or two tourist leaflets. Overall, we would highly recommend this apartment and also Lerici as a holiday destination.

Schöne Wohnung mit Blick aufs Meer

Alles wie beschrieben. Die Übergabe der Schlüssel verlief einfach und flexibel. In der Wohnung findet sich alles, was man braucht. Der Garten und vor allem der Balkon mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht sind ein absolutes Highlight. Direkt von der Wohnung aus lassen sich schöne Wanderungen und Fahrradtouren mit Blick auf das Meer starten, Ausflüge nach la Spezia und Cinque Terre unternehmen oder einfach ein entspannten Tag am Wasser verbringen.
