About this property

Larger than it looks! This large cottage has almost every everything you would like to have for a vacation home. The house is inviting, comfortable and bright with 4 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and an outside shower. Sconset is where everyone loves to visit or stay.

Located on Sconset Avenue, a 5 minute walk to the village and Sconset Beach. Sconset Village offers restaurants, Sconset Market, Post Office, 2 bus stops (one near the house) transportation to other areas of Nantucket including other beaches and Sankaty Lighthouse.

Enjoy your vacation in this lovely and clean Nantucket cottage. The first floor consisting of a living room, fully appointed kitchen and dining area, as well as two bedrooms and a full bathroom . One of the bedrooms has a queen bed and the other has 2 twin beds

Upstairs -two bedrooms- both with comfortable twin beds. One set of twins can be converted to a king bed if desired and bedding is provided for both alternatives. Another bath with a stall shower is on the second floor.

Outside, off the deck is an outside shower (a must have experience on Nantucket)
The large backyard is surrounded by tall beautifully scented privet hedges , lit with cafe lights adding privacy to the deck while relaxing, dining or playing games in the yard.

Home is fully furnished with linens, bath towels beach towels and beach chairs. Sconset beach is an easy walk, or bike ride away.

ACKscape is a great escape

It was a pleasure to rent ACKscape. In fact, you are renting a home - not just a house. The owner is extremely welcoming from start to finish. The house itself is lovely and efficient (for our family of five) and very much as advertised. The outdoor space is truly pretty as a picture and serene. The location is great - a nice street in charming Sconset, a quick walk into the village and the beach. We are thrilled to have found ACKscape and look forward to returning.

Friendly, responsive owner

I would give 10 stars if possible. Fantastic location and overall great experience. Nancy was friendly and responsive. The house was perfect. She even sent a cleaning crew over mid-stay to freshen things up.

We use to stay on Nantucket for a long weekend every fall after we married. A few years after our first child was born we rented a house for a week and fell in love with Nantucket. Over the years we rented more than 20 houses in Sconset and finally decided to buy our house of our own in Sconset and love it and so do our girls!

Why they chose this property

Sconset is a special area of Nantucket with its own beach, restaurants, market , post office and tiny rose covered cottages that use to be a fishing village.
Sconset holds many wonderful memories for our family and it is a great place to relax. This year round house offered us a large private yard on a side street in Sconset Village with room for our family and visitors. When we were thinking of buying on Nantucket we knew the only area we would buy a home was Sconset Village.

What makes this property unique

We loved the brightness of this house when we walked in the front door. It was easy to visualize our family enjoying time here and we knew renters would enjoy their stay. The house is comfortable on a rainy days, as well as, on a beautiful sunny summer day - to us that is a sign of a great house - one you can enjoy no matter the weather!
