The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, an office, sitting and a living room and a kitchen. There is a patio with a barbecue, a table and some chairs to have a meal outdoor. Lovely house, very comfortable!

Communication was great, lovely home with everything you need to make a very comfortable holiday/stay. Location is good, off road parking is a real bonus! Would recommend to stay here.

Fabulous apartment in a Fabulous location

This is the third time we have stayed in this apartment as it is perfect for our needs. In a quiet location it's only a short walk from all the amenities and about 10 minutes from the train station at Portela. For us, when we arrive it's like coming home again - basically we just love being there and it's always a wrench to leave. Thank you Isabel for allowing us to stay in your fantastic apartment.

Quiet, comfortable and well-equipped

The accommodation comprises the first floor of a house and is all on one level. (You do have to climb the stairs to the first floor though). There is plenty of space and the property is extremely well equipped throughout. It is furnished in traditional style and is very comfortable. There is an off-road parking space alongside and this seems almost essential for a stay in Sintra. The area is quiet yet is less than a 10 minute walk from the train station. It is a longer walk to the Old Town. The Sintra one-way system is beyond my comprehension. We had problems finding the property and we ended up abandoning the car and walking to find it. The address given to us by HomeAway was incorrect, so if you book confirm the street number (the street name is correct). We met the owners' daughter, Julia, who walked back with us to the car and then showed us how to drive to the property. Thank you Julia.

A lovely, spacious apartment in a quiet location and also close to the amenities

Isabel is a wonderful lady who welcomed us on our arrival. This is the second time we've stayed in her apartment and hope to stay again next year. It is a lovely apartment, spacious and comfortable with everything you need for your stay. There is a TV, wifi, fully equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher & microwave) and three good sized bedrooms. There are 3 supermarkets within walking distance plus a small shopping precinct with cafe's, butchers, fruit and vegetable shops and a couple of clothes shops. Basically, the whole of Sintra is within walking distance and there are some fabulous restaurants where you can enjoy good food. As you've probably gathered, we're great fans of Sintra and keep returning year after year for the wonderful feel of the place. All in all it is a fabulous place to stay.
