positiv: location central to shops and skilifts; separated toilet, elevator, bathroom, living room with 2 separated beds, bedbank in hall ok, big terrace southfacing. keychange good organised. Good price/quality

negativ: noisy street. There is only one door opening (to terrace). It would be better to make a part of the door opening with a noise reduction system.

Lovely apartment, clean and well-equipped

This is a comfortable, well-appointed apartment for a family of four, we had a lovely week's stay here for February half-term. It is very clean, warm and had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing in the evenings. It is nicely decorated and well laid-out. The shower room is lovely and the kitchen very well-equipped. The apartment is right next to shops including supermarkets, ski rental shops, restaurants and a bakery, and to the Ski Cool school office. It is a relatively short walk (less than 100m) carrying skis to get to the pistes. There are ski lockers in the ground floor of the apartment building. The apartment is on the first floor overlooking a busy street so there is some traffic noise and some pedestrians talking/shouting late at night, but it is not directly above or near to any noisy bars. When it's sunny you get afternoon sun on the balcony. Val Thorens/Orelle is an excellent ski area and was not too busy when we went in spite of it being half term. Our kids really enjoyed Ski Cool lessons. The apartment owner was very helpful when we booked and during/after our stay. I would recommend this apartment and Val Thorens in general for a ski holiday.
