Pretty Nice.
The pros for Momolandia are that the grounds and apartment are very well cared for. The place is very clean, and great care has been taken with decor and you can feel that the place is very thoughtful.
However we were surprised by how far we were from Cinque Terra. The GPS, when we got in the car, to go to Monterosso said 31 minutes. I had gotten the impression from the hosts and reviews that it was about half that distance. The roads are not confusing, but they are very curvey. We actually thought about forgoing our cost and finding a new place much closer to Cinque Terra, but in the end decided to just tough it out (we were three women traveling with two very young children). We did end up leaving a night early.
Another con was the smell upon entering the property. There were some glade type fresheners with the smell of incense that were incredibly intense and did not match the rustic Italian countryside beauty. The smell was so strong that we could smell it on the kids while we were down in Cinque Terra for the day. We removed the fresheners, and after about 24 hours with the windows open the smell was mostly gone.
The last thing that we were surprised by were the beds, the upstairs loft was very hot, and almost impossible to use if you wanted to feel safe coming down during the night to use the bathroom. Needless to say we pulled a mattress down the ladder and made a bed on the floor next to the sofa bed.
