Shelby Beach house has 3 separate bedrooms and 2 full baths. A fully-furnished rancher that sleeps up to 6. It has one queen size bed in each of two bedroom and a third bedroom with two twin beds. The home is 20 minutes from downtown Victoria, 20 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from the ferry to the mainland.

Great place

Lovely spot, well managed vacation stay

A gem of a property, and right outside Victoria! Very comfortable home, and a well managed property with everything you need. Fun stuff to do in the area but you won't really need to go anywhere, with the private dock and lovely setting. We hope to be back!

Why they chose this property

Our favorite pastime on a hot afternoon is a cool swim in the lake (Langford Lake is a very clean and safe lake) and relaxing on the dock afterwards. One of our favorite activities is walking around the lake, within a few minutes you are walking over a long wooden bridge thru wetland birders paradise, and then you follow a winding trail along the lake. This trail is an easy walk for most anyone or you can ride your bike if you like. From here you can connect to the galloping goose trail, and ride your bike into downtown Victoria or out to the village of Sooke if your feeling really motivated. There are 4 top golf courses within 5-10minutes, world famous Butchard Gardens is only about 25 minutes, away, a City Center Park with mini golf, a kid’s play zone and bowling are at the other side of the lake. Also locally there is shopping, restaurants, pubs, movie multi-plex, ocean beaches, Goldstream provincial park, whale watching and don’t forget some of the best salmon fishing in the world. Or maybe just head 5 minutes into downtown Langford and grab yourself a delicious latte..... its all here waiting for you to enjoy!

What makes this property unique

The biggest benefit of this Lakefront house is it is 20 minutes from Down town Victoria, and 10 minutes from the ocean. It is a one level rancher in a great neighbourhood on a quite cul-del-sac.
