Fabulous home and location

This has been one of the best places we have stayed. The apartment is in a fantastic location and has everything we needed. Thank you Marco and family for making us feel so welcome and for all the treats you provided for us. We all wished our stay could have been longer.

Fantastic short break on Lake Como

We had a great welcome including some complementary fizz and local knowledge. During our stay we were treated to some wonderful home baking. The house is well kitted out, the views are fantastic, space for the car off the main road and a lovely terrace to look out over the lake. It's really handy for the town from which you can get up and down the lake. We loved our stay and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Outstanding, welcoming hospitality; easily accessible apartment in a sunny spot alongside Lake Como

We were delighted with the warm welcome to La Terrazza near to Fiumelatte by Marco and Danielle. The apartment was all on one level ( there was one flight of steps up from the garage but these were not a problem) and the use of a secure garage on a busy road was very welcome. There is a lovely patio, gazebo and sun room facing the lake and direct access down to the lake under the road. The home made cakes and pastries and fruit from their garden made us feel very welcome. The apartment was just as promised on the website and there was plenty of information on ferries, sights, excursions and things to do in Varenna and Lake Como. As we stayed as a couple there wasn't a children's pool at the time. It was quite a walk to Varenna but we managed it once and mainly used the ferries to visit other towns such as Bellagio and Villa Isola which we highly recommend. It was less than a five minute drive to Varenna and there is free parking on the road into Varenna with a short walk to the restaurants at night although it was necessary to use the car parks (and pay) in the day (the station car park was cheaper and slightly closer to the ferry). We had a wonderful stay in the apartment and would recommend it as a base for exploring Lake Como ( and beyond).

Outstanding apartment in superb location

This apartment and it’s perfect location surpassed all our expectations. Immaculate throughout with beautiful terrace and private beach. Warm hearted and kind hosts who provided us with all information we needed and also treated us with many homemade treats and perfect touches within the accommodation. Everything had been well planned and thought out with lovely extras. We will definitely return as 5 nights wasn’t long enough!

Brilliant location with incredible views

We had a lovely time staying at Marcos place. It’s a stunning house with one of the most amazing views you could wish for. The location is great as well. We had a car and it’s a couple mins drive to Verenna. There is also a walkway above the house that is about a 35 min walk into Verenna which is well worth it. It’s really easy and we did it with two 18 month olds. Overall I couldn’t recommend it higher
